    My cricut design space doesn’t show “line Type” I have an “Operation” section with drop down menu that says Basic cut, Cut, Draw, Pen Foil.

      Yes. Design Space has since updated the wording.

    Hi! What pressure setting do use for the insert card?
    Thank you!

      After selecting the material type, I usually go with the default setting. Hope this helps.

    I am trying to write inside a card. I chose the square shape and sized it the size of an insert for the card. I chose a writing font and created what I want to put there. When I click on Make It, the message pops up "This project is not supportedby your current machine selection." What am I doing wrong?

    • @Craft-e-Corner
      @Craft-e-Corner  Před 2 lety

      Sometimes changing the color of the pen it will allow it to go. You've probably already done this, confirm the machine selection is listed as Joy. I miss this when working between machines.

    I’m a newbie. I have my first cutting machine and it is a Cricut Joy. I have watched several videos about adding text inside cards. Yours is the most clear.
    I cannot seem to move the text to center it once I press the make it button - but you were able to. I think it is because I have not yet subscribed to Cricut Access. Am I correct about this?

    • @tracieames
      @tracieames Před 3 lety

      highlight the rectangle shape and text, the click align to center. It should then align the text in the middle, then attach it.

    • @tracieames
      @tracieames Před 3 lety +1

      if its just text, then on the make it section click on the text and move it over to where you want it to be.

      @@tracieames Thank you so much. It worked. I was able to write inside my cards. I'm such a dummy, I struggled for several hours with this a few days ago (using directions given in a different person's video) and couldn't get it to work. Thank you!!!!!

    Even if I use a writing font (like Lia's Wedding Font in your example), Cricut Design Space is drawing the outlines of the font and not writing it as you show it. Do you have any idea why that might be?
    Thank you very much!

    • @eXtnce
      @eXtnce Před 3 lety +1

      I got it, soon after writing my question!
      I didn't select "writing" Style in the top left. It was set to Bold.
      Thanks anyway for your video! It helped me discover my problem :)

    I'm wondering how to find other joy card images to use in the fashion you've done here, where they are inserted as images? I can see all the Joy card in my Cricut access, but when I open a new project and click images, I can't seem to find nearly as many, nor the ones I want. I must be doing something wrong. Any tips?

    • @Craft-e-Corner
      @Craft-e-Corner  Před 3 lety +1

      First, make sure your Joy is the machine selected! Then after you click on "Images", click on "Image Sets" under "Highlighted Images" - then type in "Quick cut cards". You should see a bunch there! I hope that helps - if not, let me know! :)

      After you hit make it, you will see a screen where it will show you how it will write/cut on the mat. Here is where you can rotate your text to how you like it.
