I used the GM version of this, I heard it's the same on a Buick 3.1L with a cam cover leak. It's less messy if you break up the tablets into a water bottle with some water in it. Leak stopped in 4 minutes and 2 weeks in and it's still fine.

I been using Bars Leak since I was a teen ager, I'm 80 now! Always found it to work pretty well on radiator leaks.
GM used to pit them in systems in the factory.

That only works temporary and might clogg up the radiator. That what did with the radiator of my sable so i had to replace the radiator that had white stuff of Radiator stop leak none of those don't work. I saw the video of heater core and AutoZone don't have the factor of insulation for the heater core so o had to go to the junkyard to get. U didn't mention what type of heat core u put in in ur sable
(If you are getting exhaust gases in radiator and radiator has a slow leak) if I put stop leak in it and it seals radiator would I risk the pressure building up and causing a leak somewhere else? Or do you think it would be ok? IDK if a stop leak can fix exhaust gases in radiator hg leak..... Thank you for the help
Exhaust pressure would just go out the tail pipe like it’s supposed to.
I did a temp head gasket "pour in " repair 120,000 miles ago. was going to change gasket but got side track interested in how long it would last. Other wise known as lazy. still going!

@@benjaminrivera117 I added two dexcool tablets in the system, gave the vehicle back to the customer explaining the scenario. Person went and traded the vehicle in.
That's messed up lmao mine unfortunately started mixing water with the oil so I think these tablets won't do squat anymore :/

Yes, these absolutely work due to the non-chemical ingredients. However, you have to FLUSH the system when you get it fixed.
