I think part of the reason why Rigby is so much better with girls is because he didn’t make them a priority in his life. Rather his life was his priority. Once he started widening his horizon and seeing things differently was when he started to take things seriously with Eileen. And now look how far they’ve come.

Let’s be real everyone, if it wasn’t for Eileen I don’t think rigby would still have a big character development going forward in the show. I mean he literally went from not giving a crap about Eileen to eventually liking her, then dating her, then marrying her along with having kids. Her being in rigby’s life since the beginning is what changed him in the long run
She was literally his main inspiration for going back to highschool, he wanted to be better for her as well
He even went back to school
He woulda been a deadbeat without eileen, but clearly he matured being with her

@@bigdon001 well this is mostly what I heard through the grapevine, but the episode was originally supposed to be a lot darker where Rigby would act more like a jerk after getting sprayed and have no remorse over how he treated his friends
That version did get greenlit, but it was immediately scrapped because (presumably) the crew didn’t like it and started to rewrite everything at the last minute, thus becoming the episode we have now
Personally, I’m glad they didn’t go with the original, because that would have been too mean-spirited

I love Eileen. She's unapologetically herself and doesn't care if others may find her weird. Rigby pushes her away at first because he wants to 'look cool' and he's very self conscious about his own weirdness. But seeing how nothing can keep Eileen down, how she always stays true to her weird self, doesn't hide her feelings and is always kind to him, makes him really open up to her and have the confidence to be himself as well.
That voice is BEYOND adorable, like seriously XD

I don't think so. Her character is pretty interesting. kinda like an introvert who seems weird and probably is but when you get to know them there is more to them than meets the eye. But her voice does make the character though.

It should be noted in Skunked, it showed that he didn't hate her as much as he thought he did, otherwise he wouldn't regret scaring her, even though they can clearly see that he's not intentionally doing that.

I don’t care what anyone says , rigby has came a long way in being in mordecai shadow, went on to graduate high school for arleen and himself, marrying her. Mord finally did finish art school and came famous finding a new girlfriend or wife.
He has achieved something Mordecai can't. Get in a relationship that lasted long
CJ worked for a while until the writers brought back Margaret for no reason and made Mordecai a simp again

I think it's such a refreshing thing that Eileen isn't just a romantic interest for Rigby to crush on and jsut.. be oen dimensional and not much, but she actually has an impact on him, she has her own story and her own character and actively makes a change on Rigby's life and helps him improve himself, she makes him WANT to be better and do better, both for her and himself, and i am so hapy we got that with them, she's an actual character beyond "pretty lady for mc to wabt"
rigby and eileen will always be the best relationship in this show
The early moments were hilarious. It is nice to see the progression of the two. Honestly, those two made certain parts of the show enjoyable and or bearable.
rigby's character growth is consistent with how smart eileen is, she knew from the start
Oh yea she knew from the beginning that Rigby was a guy who yea was a slacker and laid back and goofy but had the potential to develop into a wonderful kind caring amazing person so she worked towards getting rigby from day one waited patiently and her time came one day
Its a cute touch that Rigby gently put her down. Still had enough control to use that strength and be considerate.
I think Rigby ignored her at first just because he thought Mordecai would tease him. But he eventually overcame his insecurities and went for it
