I shared your post of the spaghetti models with my husband, and we're going to slowly start getting things ready. Extra case of water to store away, extra canned food, batteries, ya know the norm. With Ian, I didn't prep at all, and I regret it. My husband had me comvinced it would go to the panhandle despite us being in the direct path until it made that seemingly last-minute turn. I'm not going to take chances. If it doesn't end up here, then at least I'll be a little more prepared for the next storm.

Max Velocity, Yesterday I was in a severe thunderstorm that gave 2 inches of water on ground, Violent lightning strikes and our gardening supply collapsed to the immense winds of the storm We’re good right now, but I really hope I don’t experience something like that again.

Either way, off loading tons of dialysis boxes is not fun in the heat. The van can barely keep me cool when its above 95 degrees out. Edit: I wanted to add that I recently left a nice paying position, I was at a point in my life that I needed a change and wanted to work something that felt important and made me feel like my time was giving back to others in some capacity. Not sure how long I will work this one.
