85 amp alternator that's tiny you can't push two 12s with that lights will be dimming like crazy throw in a second battery or else that alternator isn't going to last
I am known as the Kicker4Life guy I've been into Car Audio for 30yrs & Kicker is all I have ran for decades! With that being said bro, them Q class 15's need to see around 1100 clean watts each bro! I would recommend putting 2-Kicker 46CXA-1800.1T amplifiers on them! 1 amplifier per sub & turn them down some! It is always better to have more power then what u need! I work at our local Kicker dealer as the head installer here in Iowa! I am currently running 2 Kicker 12"L7S's on a single Kicker 46CXA-1800.1T in a custom ported enclosure tuned to 33hz! With the matching Kicker 46CXA-360.4 on all mids/highs! Oh yeah bro under powering your subs especially with distortion that is what actually blows subs bro! Heat is the enemy to anything electrical bro! Also that pre-fab box u have them is way way to small for those subs & those pre-fab boxes are tuned to like 45hz! They don't get subs low low with bass, if u had custom made ported enclosure tuned to around 31hz & with the right power, u might knock that trunk off bro! Those subs need about 4.5 cubic ft each! Real Talk!! I'm not bashing u at all hell that car is sick af bro!! I'm thinkn bout getting me a '81 cutty myself! Wit 2-15" Kicker Solo X's wit 4-Kicker 1800's 2-1800's on each sub! The subs easily handle 2000watts each they weigh about 70lbs each! NICE RIDE BRO!!

Shoulda went to custom car alarms in pleasant hill. They do good ass work and have done a lot of show car installs as well as foriegns. That box need to be mounted so it doesnt slide around. I can’t believe they called that an install lol. that trunk needs dynamat. It would sound so much cleaner.

@@compacheo603 trust me I heard the single 15 not on full power ported in an in between sized box, (not smaller than the smallest recommended size but nowhere near the biggest size recommended) it was hitting hard and sounding good doing it these subs have a very good combo of SPL AND SQL whatever size you pick and however many of them please make sure you have them receiving everything they need to play their loudest and sound their best

Don't do it like this.. if you want the subs to sound good pressurize the cabin instead of the closed trunk (it'll just rattle and no definition of tones) .. or atleast vent the trunk into the cabin somehow (put down back seats or a some sort of port)
