To be honest, I became your fan when I first started listening to 'How to Citizen' a few years ago. However, the show later took a different direction, and I lost interest, partly because I wanted to avoid politics due to its overwhelming nature.
Today, I decided to give 'All About Now' episodes a try, which I hadn't checked out before. To my delight, I discovered your CZcams channel, and this video was the first one that appeared. 😁

Amazing video Meghnad, as usual. Just a small fact check, you said that the govt. paid for Ranveer's food and lodging but I think the article is about govt. paying for the expenses of ministers going for the interview.
No, it's for their travel, food and lodging since they traveled to Delhi to record this. The production cost was borne by their team.

But these people he interviewed are serving ministers. Their time is valuable. To properly utilize that time, questions and counter questions should be asked, regarding his/her promise, actions while in office, etc.

I would strongly urge you to make a video debunking the myths @beerbiceps is proliferating about people like Jawahar Lal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi by instrumentalising certain armchair academics like Abhijeet Chavda and Anuj Dhar. He is also intelligent enough to bring about right wing historians like Vikram Sampath who are allowed and enabled to spew absolute venom in the name of "real history". I am a student of political history and it evokes strong cringes to know that this bizarre rendition of history is reaching the masses who would be mindlessly consuming such content. It really is a strong appeal and I beg you to consider it. I have been trying to contact you about the same for a long time but couldn't. No one I believe is more equipped to take on this propagandist who has by now made a substantial contribution towards corrupting the public discourse.

I have no sympathy for the Marxist historians who relegated the entire freedom struggle unto one political party and coterie of a few men. My point is, the right wing has enough in the realms of its history to push back credibly and with intellectual and academic rigor. It does not have to rely on buffoons and armchair academics who have no training in history as a discipline (i strongly suggest you read RC Majumdar). The discourse would only get richer if contrary viewpoints are passionately put forth and defended, but they have to be backed by solid research and academic rigor.
P.S. I have set no narrative to be worried about it getting out of my hands.
