My three year old girl has been diagnosed with Asperger's, she doesn't play with dolls or girly stuff, she likes to line up cars and things like that, but she does enjoy makeup and always tries to copy what I'm doing. I agree with the other comments about you being so real. It's so refreshing. There is one popular beauty 'guru' I was subscribed to for a while but no longer watch. It was getting irritating to watch someone so obsessed with themselves and attention seeking. I come to Emily for real and honest opinions and no drama. You are lucky in that every color of lipstick, or lip product, looks really good on you. I think maybe it has to do with the fact that you just "do makeup" so dang well! And, you have an enviable skin tone, and hair color, and... well, you know what I mean! You really do great review videos, too. Oh, btw, I saw Kelly's painting last night on instagram. OMG. I was literally speechless, because I'd seen that photo, just a couple hours after Eve was born. It is stunning. Tears to my eyes, honestly. Y'all are two very, very talented and gifted sisters! ❤❤❤
I agree that all lip shades look great on her. I know she was saying she doesn't like the peacy tone and i'm like "what! you look great in all tones".
Liz Miller I think another thing that helps (besides Emily's experience with makeup), is also the fact that Emily's skin has a neutral undertone. She can really pull off warm, neutral, and cool colors without anything appearing jarring or clashing too much with her skin tone. Not that cool-toned girls can't wear warm colors or vice-versa, but it's going to be a much more striking look in comparison to Emily wearing the same color. : ) Got to say though, even if I think every lip color looks stunning on her, my favorite lip color on Emily is definitely the neutral red she wears for pin-up / classic makeup inspired looks.
Emily's lips are so pretty I have never seen any lip product look unflattering on her in all the years I have been watching her. Lucky lady!
Man, thank God for your channel! I'm a CZcams beauty junkie, and alot of these channels have gotten pretty unwatchable lately. I never know if the person talking has a financial stake in the products they're recommending or if they're getting kickbacks for talking up a product. It's a sketchy mess. I don't recommend things very often (usually because I'm trying things per your recommendations lol) But, Makeup Geek came out with their iconic lipsticks/glosses and omg, they're BEAUTIFUL & GORGEOUS! Definitely worth mentioning. I would LOVE for you to review them. I bought 2 of the creamy lipsticks and I LOVE them!

I was glad to see the review of the Maybelline brown blush matte lipstick. I happened to buy that recently and really liked it. I tend to wear Revlon super lustrous lipsticks mainly. My Dad is a retired Pharmacist and Revlon was the big brand they carried so I started wearing the super lustrous as a teen and always stayed loyal to it. I have used other brands over the years, but I always go back to Revlon. I really now am going to try the Revlon HD lipstick. I have a Target gift card burning a hole in my pocket and I think that's one of the items I'm going to use it on.

The Revlon Ultra HD in Blossom lives in my bag and another one in my desk drawer at work. My new favorite is the NYX Butter lipstick, So smooth and beautiful I have two shades in that.
The Revlon Ultra HD lip colors are great. My two favorites are HD Arabica, which you showed, and HD Adobe, which looks like a warm red in the tube but is really more of a neutral true red. It's one of the best lipsticks I've ever worn. So glad you showed them.

I went into Ulta to pick up the Revlon HD Lipcolors in Desert a few weeks back after seeing how pretty it looked on you. The next day, I went back to purchase three more! They are so beautiful and comfortable. For years, I've been hearing you talk about the Neutrogena Color Smooth Moisture Sticks and finally picked them up last week. I think they are the best chubby sticks on the market for true nourishment and staying power. I was gifted the Crayola Clinique Chubby Stick 8 piece set this week, and the Intense range is amazing, as you said, for that color payoff! The TooFaced Peach Lip Oils are truly unique and lovely too. I work in a hospital, so the dry air takes it's toll on my skin and lips. Love me some matte, but I hope these more hydrating lip color launches continue!

The Almond Rose Inti-matte has become my new go-to neutral lip. It's so beautiful and has that depth you're describing that the honey color lacks.
I was sad that Revlon discontinued the lip butters but now I'm really excited to try those new HD lipsticks. Gotta get my hands on Sand, Dawn, and Vinyard for sure!

LOVE the maybelline Inti-matte line! I have brown blush as well but I cannot stop wearing Almond Rose. You probably have a million colors like it in your collection but I love the formula and enjoy it as an everyday lip.

I've been loving the Loreal lip paints. The color taupeless is my fave for me its pretty purplely and looks so different and dark but not to dark.
I love those Revlon HD lip colors too. I picked up Vineyard and Arabica. Quite out of the box since I usually go for the light, pinky nudes in a line. I wore Arabica Christmas Day. Such a beautiful color. You can wear it intensely like you did or more lighter if you aren't as bold. Such a pretty color!

I'm obsessed with those new baby lips products! I'd bought a few last month, and bought nearly all the colors. They are great! I am also loving the whole hydroboost range, especially the skin care. Kinda was hoping those glosses would be the drugstore dupe for the too faced sweet peach oil glosses. I bought one and love it, but can't afford the splurge for all of them! Love your reviews!

Emily I think that if you try any more of those Neutrogena Hydro Boost lip shines, you should go for the shade Velvet Wine. It is the perfect warm plum shade on the lips, and I think it would look gorgeous on you!
