I have blush ripple, now personally, I’m a matte lipstick kind of girl. I strive for nudes, reds, pinks, and browns, however, I live for a natural look. Burt’s bees don’t dry out your lips and they make your lips look slightly glossy, not overly, and just give them a splash of color to essentially enhance your lips. I’ve always seen makeup as a form of art, but originally makeup was created for enhancement. I didn’t really hear talk about the prices, I must say here, it’s like 8-9 dollars for one tube of lipstick, which is fairly expensive and I like to think of it as a more luxury item, but it’s honestly not bad when you taken in account the amount of product you are receiving, how long it lasts, how beautiful and subtle they are, their ingredients and moisturizing affects
If I were to pick up of one of these I would try Sunset Cruise. I have a different lippie from that brand (Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in plum). What I have found with that lippie is its minty and slippery. I have to be careful with it. It is a very pretty color though and 100% natural, so I feel nice using it. At the time I was looking for a natural replacement to my Yes to Carrots C Me Shine lip gloss (I believe it has been discontinued). It didn't really work as a replacement (it was more slippery and pigmented than I was expecting). I may like these new Burt's Bees lipsticks better, since they are less pigmented and looks like they could be a little less slippery. Thanks for the great swatchfest Emily.

I have brining berry and it's totally adorable I love it so much, my problem was at the store I went to I couldn't swatch any colors so I wasnt 100% sure which color would work well and what the colors would look like now when I go back I can have a better idea (brimming berry does work well by the by) so thanks for helping me figure out what's what with these! :3
These are pretty and perhaps something I'd pick up. Glad there's no menthol but would've loved it if they got rid of the linalool but for a lipstick, I don't mind too much
I love blush basin & juniper water ! Juniper water goes very well w/ purplish blues like wisteria blue...clothes! They are natural lipsticks ,so it wears out w/ abuse ( eating & drinking ) ,but after all great pay offs & knowing that it's not that bad to eat foods w/ them on our lips , gives me a huge piece of mind ,like ' peace of mind' really ! I don't want to eat colour dyes ,or leads ,so on.Now I wish if they'll stop using carmine ( bug extract)as I don't wanna eat bugs,either ! Lol. Yikes,I feel really bad for them as well! But when you have a tight budgets on cosmetic & wanna go natural ,what can you do ?

These are much more pigmented than I imagined they would be. I had several of the Burt's Bees lip glosses and they were not very pigmented, which I expected being a gloss. I really like several of these shades and like you, I have pretty pigmented lips so the deeper shades suit me best. TFS I will have to try a couple of these. Deborah
Alisa Duran mine is like that too, I thought it was the top layer only but when I cut a good amount of it off to check, all of it is like that. It’s very lumpy. Yuck 🤢 will have to throw it out
Those nails though 😩💕 btw try the No. 7 Moisturize Drench Lipsticks. It's as great as the Burt's Bees, and they don't smell plastic-ish or taste either

I bought Fuchsia Flood in a failed attempt at being adventurous with my lip colours (it wasn't very flattering on me)... but I do wear Lily Lake and Blush Basin all the time! I love these lipsticks!

I loveeee this lipstick I have the colour blush basin and it is an everyday lipstick for me :) but it’s not long lasting :( it lasts only an hour or two for me

my favorite is #515 tulip tide!!! I usually use it on top of a similar, longer lasting matte color and it lasts forever!!!!

I would suggest patting lips lightly with concealer or foundation before applying the lip product to show the true color of it.. 😊
