York Mills Rd to Finch Corridor - Toronto Cycling | Betty Sutherland & East Don Trails

This video shows the route between York Mills Road and the Finch Hydro Corridor trail. I ride through the Betty Sutherland trail and the East Don Trail. Mills Trail. I also show how to avoid the construction area at the north end of the East Don trail.

That painted bike path in York Mills at the beginning -- how safe does it feel when there is traffic? Cars drive hella fast in a road like that, and the bike path doesn't look that wide. Thanks!!

Hi! I have only ridden that path early in the morning and there aren’t that many cars so it feels safe, I would think it is still safe during busier hours but not sure.

A couple of months ago i tried to ride the Betty Sutherland Trail down to York Mills but it was closed until 2026. It was blocked off at the 401 underpass. Would you know of an another way down from Sheppard to York Mills. Thanks for the guided tour, the trails are confusing.

Oh no! I didn’t know they had fully closed it. I haven’t ridden that section in a while. I think you can use Don Mills Road to connect between Sheppard and York Mills
