  • In Part 3 of my DIY camp kitchen build for my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk small SUV, I build out the off-grid 12 Volt power systems that include a Renogy 60 Watt solar panel, a 12V switch panel with USB ports and a 12V socket and a 50 Amp/hour Mighty Max AGM battery. All of this will power USB devices I bring camping, as well as help power my AlpiCool 12V fridge/freezer.
Here's the products for the camp kitchen build I ordered from Amazon for this video:
    ✔️ Renogy MC4 Connectors: amzn.to/2xvQ3oK
    ✔️ Renogy 10A 12V Charge Controller: amzn.to/2YxvPGk
    ✔️ Renogy MC4 Connector Tool: amzn.to/3b7T8ch
    ✔️ 12V Marine LED Switch Panel: amzn.to/2xD9T1A
✔️ Renogy Suitcase 12V Solar Panel Systems: amzn.to/2W4hyPV
    ✔️ Mighty Max 12V 50 Amp/hour AGM Battery: amzn.to/2W1vJ8c

You want your fridge battery protection on H. That will shut it off at the highest voltage to save your battery.

Hey Nick thanks much appreciated. Had a hard time finding a video breaking things down to the basics, so that's what I tried to do here as I pieced info together. Thanks man!

Everytime I hear you say "I purchased..." I thinking gotta spend that stimulus! 😂
Great videos. I'm getting tons of ideas and you are very handy! Lots of good information being passed here. Thanks!

Thanks Carl really appreciate the compliments. I tried to share everything I'm doing building this camping unit. And yes, that stimulus check is spent! Once I get to go camping with this it will be be worth it! Have a good one sir!

Pretty cool idea but I feel like with the renegade it's not big enough for that. A lot of waisted space I have one too and with everything I bring camping I can pack alot by not building it in to the car

There is definitely more compact and practical packing. Could just go full backpacking gear. Adding a bit of creature comfort was behind this. Ill be building in more storage. If you havent gotten to Part 4, you'll see I pack much more into it.

As a fellow Trailhawk owner I absolutely LOVE this build and series! Just found you today and can't wait for Part 4. Would love to be able to build this out myself someday.

holy yikes, it sounds like a lot of the things that were sent to you caused so much more hassle. I hope you find it fun and not frustrating

Hey Mollie yes it was a bit frustrating, but figured it all out, and actually made big improvements to the final camp kitchen build which you can see here in Part 4: czcams.com/video/JuQmoAHisck/video.html
