    I really wish the transit was redesigned to be more like the sprinter so it sits a few inches higher stock & then when I add a 2inch lift kit * could put 35 inch tires ... Its the only reason I am going with a new sprinter is because I want to build out my van to live off grid & be able to go to much more overland trails & camp spots that are accessible with much less stress if you have a higher clearance. I hope ford comes out with a better design but I know van life is the primary reason people buy transits. Its a shame b/c I prefer the ford engine & the power it has. BTW Great quality on your kits and wicked ingenuity ... You guys are really impressive. Wish you the best & keep making kick ass products for us all. Cheers

    Please know that Roambuilt is having financial difficulty and is not completing orders placed months ago. Go to the sprintersource forum and look up Roambuilt Products there are four pages of complaints of customers not receiving their products. I ordered items 6 months ago and still have not received them and I am trying to get a refund but so far no luck. They claim to need to sell a company van to get enough money to restart production. Not a good sign for the company. Do your research before ordering. They have an F from the better business bureau.

      I certainly wanted to at first, especially to be able to easily get at everything else for restoration like the frame, etc. But I lacked space and other reasons, so decided to tackle it on the truck. Was harder access, but having it bolted down came in handy with using the jacks to push bent parts back into place.

    • @Savagecamper
      @Savagecamper Před 7 měsíci

      For example: I have fifty thousand dollars saved. And I had no intents in buying a house even though I need to have somewhere to live and I'm an introvert towards paying rent. I realize I have choices. a. I can either pay rent b. I can buy an inexpensive house c. I can buy an empty lot and build a house on the lot I own d. I can be a NoMad and build a cabin house From research the NoMad would be the most inexpensive cost saving way to go. Yet there is a problem with some people who disrespects your decision of going as "NoMad" type of lifestyle. Using peer-pressure to cause unnecessary dilemma with business affairs or worst. For the 12V heated blanket I use, I made it it had a low amperage draw (less than 3 amps) which will last all night. A separate 12V power station can be charged from a running vehicle, solar panel or A/C shore power if it dies.
