I was lucky to find a 1988 FWC Grandby in San Diego, sits in my 03 F250. I love it, i restored it and would never trade for a new one. I love old school.
Very nice , that's exactly what Dad's truck looked like in 1976 ......it was a 73 C-10 w/350 & 3 speed, 3.73, exactly that 2 tone color........62 year old me misses that truck

Wow that was my first pick up in high school. All my other friends had short bed half ton with cragars. I had 8 lugs with the shiniest hub caps on the planet. I had a lot of fun in that truck
Great memories I'm sure sounds like a cool truck. I had a 74 stepside in high school and luckily still have it hope to get it back on the road one day :)

Seeing those buckles on the side that hold the camper to the bed finally explains what the holes on the bed of my 76 K20 are for. Haha. Nice setup.
A friend had same color grn/wht chevy 3/4 ton truck 4x4 & we used to load 40+ big bales of hay at a time on that every year until one year he rolled it in the mountains. Then he bought another new only tan/white.

I bought a brand new '75 similar to that but only had a camper shell, in which my first wife and I camped in all over NorCal back in the days of old... ~ ~ ~ "Ol' Scooter" from down in East Texas

1974 was the first year for the drip molding trim above the doorways. 1973 was the first year for those third generation Chevrolet & GMC C/K series pickups & were produced up through 1991, except 1987 was the last year for the half ton & three quarter ton regular cabs & 1989 for the one ton regular cabs. Like the crew cabs, the seventh generation Suburbans & second generation K5 Blazers & Jimmys were also produced from 1973 through 1991.

What are those slide in campers called and how much do they cost?
@@Sam-kv5lu Four Wheel Campers located in Woodland, CA makes them and they can vary widely in price. Their shell model is the basic version most comparable to this camper
