    In Korean Buddhism, 법 is used quite frequently. By itself, it is translated as "dharma," or reality, truth, or Buddha's teaching. It is also used compoundly in other Buddhist contexts.

    ever since I've learned about hanja my learning experience has completely changed,
    words just start making actual sense and it's fun to try and guess their meaning based on the hanja

      Yes!! Same!! Because remembering words suddenly became so much easier when I understood the meanings behind them, and because I can then relate a new word to all the other words I already know. I rarely find a word I can't relate to a word I already know, unless it's not hanja, and those tend to be easy words to remember.
      Although I just learned (or added to my personal dictionary) 관련되다 the other day, which according to Naver, doesn't appear to be hanja, meaning to 'relate or associate', and it's not sticking at all because I can't 'relate' it to any other words!! 🤣

      @@fransmith3255 personally I have 2 ways for remembering 관련,
      first of all 관하다 can be used like 대하다 when saying "about ..." like - 이 주제에 대해 많이 얘기를 했어요> 이 주제에 관해 많이 얘기를 했어요 so you basically use it to express that A is *related* to B.
      the second method is thinking about the word 관계 which literally means connection, relationship, so to be related, associated.

      @@theliarmaiq Ah! Thank you!! I'd not relate 관계! I have several lists of words and I didn't look for words on that list! I need to add 관하다 to my learning list. I'm not familiar with 환하다 and or that usage, but I'll investigate it. I should remember this word easily now! Thank you!! 😃

    love the many creative ways to bring the “법“ alive like 살인자의 기억법 (a kdrama) when translated directly into mandarin 殺人者的記憶法, it got the flavor of korean which i really like

    Pretty good explanation! I'm really happy to see the similarity of Korean and my Chinese language!!
    An interesting thing I came up with is that (~법) can not only used to mean (the method of ~) it can also be used to mean(~ Law)
    For example:
    혼인법 =婚姻法 = Marriage Law
    노동법 =劳动法 = Labor Law
    이민법= 移民法 = Immigration Law

    Hi!!!!!
    Many people react to BTS music videos, are you aware of reaction videos? I know you're kind of late to the BTS game,! If you play the Hybe logo at the beginning you shouldn't have any problems! After your BTS series, would you be at all open to reacting to a few BTS videos? If you use stuff like #bts #react #reaction #kpop #[title] etc., you'll get lots of traffic and a lot of new viewers :)

      My channel is focused on the Korean language, so I don't have plans to make react videos. Thanks for watching!
