When I want to print collated on one side, it prints on the underside of the paper in the tray. However, I want to print on the top side. Isn't there a setting for this?

MY PRINTER KEEPS TELLING ME THAT IT'S OUT OF PAPER BUT IT'S NOT...............

You will get a message saying that you need to change your maintenance box or they call it maintenance cartridge sometimes. The out of paper you're getting is probably unrelated from the maintenance box.
