It's a shame June's Diary never released a full album...Brownstone were/are the best R&B vocal group ever, they dont sound like 3 woman they sound like a full choir

I love Brownstone and SWV with their rich 3-part harmonies! I love En Vogue. I like Cindy, Terry and Rhoda, but I miss the 4-part harmony of the original lineup of Cindy, Terry, Dawn and Maxine. I like the Braxtons, too. Them being siblings is one reason why they can create songs out of the blue and harmonize like they've been practicing. Just like the McClain sisters. Shared DNA makes for some insane harmony!
P.S. I've never heard of Cherish or June's Diary before this video, but I listened. Both groups have amazing voices that blend extremely well. 🎶
June’s Diary is actually a girl group that was put together by Kelly Rowland on a BET show called Chasing Destiny.
The Braxtons always give me chills (R.I.P. Traci Braxton) En Vogue, SWV, DC, XSCAPE are my favourites
All of Destiny’s Child, The Braxtons, SWV, Xscape, Brownstone, and The McClain Sisters have the most consistent harmony. EnVogue is the supreme group and if Junes Diary get a fair shot they’ll be the greatest vocal girl group ever.
Destiny's child harmonies were weak plus often used pre recorded beyonce as background vocals during "live" performances and couldn't distinguish the voices of the others.
@@nesq4104 actually not true. Destiny’s child as the original 4 did all the harmonies as a group. Even the 3 they did alot of the harmony as a group. There harmony was nowhere near weak

Overall I’m team En Vogue and Xscape. But I will say Destiny’s Child on “Opera of the Bells” takes me out every time. That is 4 minutes and 30 seconds of pure excellence.

So happy to see the McClain sisters on here they can sing fr and folk tend to forget about them but I would like to know when they have these award shows why these ppl that can truly sing and groups why tf they aren’t there or honored more these groups was really singing not whispering they all are great and at the top imo not a soul coming can soul any of these groups

En Vogue and The Braxtons have the strongest harmonies. The other groups are great (Brownstone, DC etc) but none of them match EV of the Braxton sisters

Mc Cain Sisters 2.Brown Stone 3.June 5 4th SWV 5th Destiny Child 6th Xscape Some of theses Groups has more People, so it's makes a Difference how many Soprano Alto and Tenor it's a different in The Harmony. Destiny's Child was superior as far as blend.
Not. Lots of prerecorded vocals. Beyonce can't sing lead and background at the same time. Harmonies were underdeveloped as a result in my opinion

Harmonies are about BLENDING. While as a whole En Vogue, Brownstone, & Xscape were the more vocally superior groups… Destiny’s Child undoubtedly had the tightest harmonies and best blends on this list hands down 🙌🏽followed by SWV & En Vogue in no particular order… Brownstone and Xscape had the weakest harmonies they were still good but compared to the others groups there were the weakest on this list.
The Braxtons, Envouge, SWV, Destiny's child, Escape (but take Candi out), then the rest
Kandi is great
If you remove Kandi’s note it will be very noticeable and the harmony won’t be as solid. You may not like her solo but removing her from the harmony would not work in their favor. You would be able to clearly tell there’s a note missing.
@Shawn Wyatt - Yep, her voice is very important to their sound. For her not to be the best singer in the group, her voice stands out, and without it you would definitely notice the void..

Kandi can sing decently but not really that great, her alto parts are important to the harmonies of Xscape and her voice is what makes Xscape distinct.
