- Xscape is one of the greatest RNB girl groups from the 90s. All 4 members cans sing their faces of the harmonies are incredible their vocals can take you to another place collectively and individually. With hits like Just kick in it, Understanding, Who can are run to, Little Secret and more. They helped RNB music to become bigger.

The thing that made Xscape dope was the fact that ALL FOUR of them brought something different to the table VOCALLY. You had Kandi with the deep, sultry voice. Tocha, who had the power. Tiny, with the bright tone and unmatched growls, and Tameka.. the silent but deadly one, who had the least leads but showed out every time she sang a solo. All four of them had a different flavor, but they blended so well. I love their harmonies! The fact that all four different tones could gel so beautifully is astonishing!

Tiny voice is naturally lighter, brighter and higher being a 1st Soprano and Tochas is a little darker and heavier where she is a Mezzo I wish Tiny gets back the confidence she used to have back in the day her Soprano is so pretty
@@marleymusiq1917 I think Tocha is a Dramatic Soprano and Tiny is a Light-Lyric Soprano. But I agree I wish Tiny was as confident and would show more of her range.
@@anyib.3150 Nah Tocha voice isn't heavy or dark enough to be dramatic ... Jennifer Hudson is an example of Dramatic due to the weight and colour Tochas voice is quiet light in comparison
@@marleymusiq1917 xscape was a group of sopranos. Tocha and tamika and Kandi were sopranos as well. Tocha as voice was more light and agile as well. She was a lyric soprano.
Tamika was a soprano as well. I don’t kno which one because of the power her voice had but most likely a lyric soprano as well and Kandi was most definitely a lyric as well but she preferred the bottom. Her voice was naturally high speaking and singing.

It was not her cousin, Tamera Coggins is one of Kandis best friends till this day. She had a huge argument with their ex manager after that he gave the group in ultimatum. So they kicked her out, some months later the manager left them too.
