The funniest thing about Russell's crowd work over all these years has always been how almost all the random people he chooses out of the audience have something so hilarious about them that perfectly suits his roasting. It's absolutely crazy - like for example everything with that Shiao girl seemed so normal until he found our her full name is Shiao Shiao, bwahahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 If that's not absolute money I don't know what is!!

In fact it was me who got him into comedy. He wanted to be a gynecologist. But I told him, I said Russ... you'll get to work with many more tw*** on the comedy circuit. And he said Ok. I'm really proud of him. We regularly meet up for a coffee and a catch up. Exchange funny stories and just chill. He's hilarious. But above all, he's my friend.
She's the only Chinese lady who told her 'real Chinese name' to Russel 😅 (which his audience usually don't do that and unless he asks their Chinese name) haha

My grandfather was from Germany and his last name was Herre which is mister in German. So he was mister mister before the band came out. He wanted an American last name. I was in NYC and there weren't that many people with the last name of Dow in the town. I used to go to track meets and they would announce names.
