Stemverter 3 is a free, open-source tool that allows users to convert audio files into the STEM format. It supports a wide range of file types and offers a high level of control over the conversion process.
Serato Stems, on the other hand, is a proprietary format developed by Serato, a company that specializes in DJ software. But which one is king of stems separation? Well, I did a bit of a deep dive and this is what I found out!

$79 is way better than paying $250 for serato! I'm glad I came accros this!

Virtual DJ Stems 2.0 kills anything I've heard lately. Considering a switch to VDJ. Kinda pricey though.
Virtual DJ is free it only cost if you use a controller

@@michaeljthomas4513 You could try RipX by Deep Audio. Been using that for a while now. It's tricky and you really need to learn how to use it, but this is basically the same. Although RipX is more in-depth and works with EVERY audio file. I'm pretty sure Stemverter cannot rip stems from the tracks that I produce, because I softlock that into all my work (except everything dating pre-2018).

Interesting video but honestly not very helpful. The comparison at the end was pretty much useless. How can we determine which software is better if you play them at the same time? It's sounds like more of a promo video for the production than a reaction to it.
