68 main jet and with that exhaust will fly like hell my friend has a yasuni z pipe and 4.7 gram rollers on his zip and he is there just wheeling it like it has a 70cc kit on it :D
No it should be happy just with more fresh air lol A small up jet would help too again shouldn't have to tune But my videos will help on tuning if needed
Hey man, don’t know if you Will respond but I have a question. Does every sr50 have cables that lead nowhere? For some reason my Aprilia has three cables coming out to the headlights, one that leads to the left light, and one leading to the right one. And then there’s one in the middle leading nowhere? My headlight and heads-up display backlight don’t work and I don’t why. Could it be that this third cable is supposed to be plugged in somewhere? I can’t find a place for it to go
Hi can you help me out mate. I’ve got a sr50(Piaggio) and I just fitted a Leo vince tt Exhaust on there and it improved the acceleration but the top end feels slower. But the exhaust came with 4.8g rollers. Should I put them on? Would it improve the top speed and what do the stock rollers weigh?
most of the time they fit on with no problems however 4.8g is a little light and more likely to give you great pull away but even less top end , weight what you have now but I always like 6g for best top and pull away you might look into a small up jet , like in my videos but so check them out
Hi, does anyone know how to derestrict a Aprilia sr 50, mine has a yusuni sport exhaust, and I’ve took the air derestriction out the carb and it does about 42mph flat, but somehow does 60 down road with wind behind me, all I want is it to have a nice consistent speed on flat roads, any suggestions?

Hi I got a problem with my zip sp, it doesn't wanna pull away correctly I'm thinking its cos I have standard clutch and rollers with a high end stage 6 kit and 21mm stage 6 carb ?

they are so easy as you just get on and go and don't really think about them till they go wrong, as for manual we all have had one then forgot to take it off and conked out a few miles up the road and then have to take it off and start off lol so tbh auto chock for me , take care bud mark
mark savage hi mark , ithink mine has gone maybe as it doesnt idle without having to hold the throttle on a bit and even after its started from cold it wont idle until i ride it for a bit then stop then it holds the revs at 1,900/2,000 rpm im thinking a faulty auto choke ? How can i test and fit one of those as ive not done that yet
for the fact it is starting sound more like idle, have you up'd the idle, adjusted the cable and cleaned the idle jet? test auto choke , take it off and connect power from a battery to the wires / earth and live then after 30 secs or so the auto choke will come out up to about 5mm then if it does it works if not it don't --simple bud mark
Mark I have probem with my SF2. I was cleaning carb and wanted to screw out idle jet but both idle and atomizer started to spin and now I can't put idle out but more important that atomizer is spining. I found loctite that is resistant to gas BUT, problem is that I don't know where holes on atomizer go, I don't know how to put it back now. Do you have some idea in what direction to put holes cuz they are in 90 deg angle
Also after this scoot isn't starting cold well. It's running on very low rpms, it don't want to rise them up, like choke isn't working , but I checked it and it works well.

Go up in 4s from standard jet size but to be honest it should be ok with doing it and just sorting out the variator so clean and new rollers For better pull away and top end if it’s running ok Otherwise like I said get a few bigger jets from standard size you have in there now and a little bit of tuning like in. Hi.. i have a prob with my speedfight 3 it does start and ride however.. it seems that when the bike gets a little bit warm it seems to bog down and it won’t move no matter if I put a bit of throttle or full throttle. Help?!
hi bud a few things but got to start with a service and clean carb, have you checked the auto chock like in my videos make sure the air and fuel pipe are good and not gone hard plus check float worth a check on the VARIATOR system too, clean and new rollers and belt if needed hope that helps bud got loads of videos that will help however you know i don't love the sp3's sorry bud just a bit harder to work on please like share and sub

Hi Mark, I have the same bike but it wont start at all, was riding yesterday when it started bogging down and cut out, plug has spark and everything. What do you suggest mate?
So it’s a DI-tect engine They suffer from injection cdi problems Also piston failure So you have spark and a wet plug when you turn it over 2t oil all ok Water full When you turn over open the throttle does it pop or just turn over and won’t start
@@marksavage No it's normal engine mate not DI Tech yes have spark and its wet through when turning over 2t is full and so is water just turns over and wont start
@@marksavage Fixed it mate, well kinda... runs perfect now but its making a sort of weird noise when riding and it's around 10mph slower than before, was suggested to me that I need to replace crankshaft bearings but im not sure, any advice?
my SR 50 r (tuned/ modified) back wheel spins relatively fast when idling on the stand and when off the stand it pushes me along then stalls, when i pull the throttle back and drive it runs normally until i stop and it will push me forward or stall. i cant push it backwards either as the back wheel doesn't want to move, only forward. someone help?
so tuned and modified ! ok the VARIATOR system, it sounds like the belt maybe the wrong fit and too tight did you change the clutch or play with the springs or VARIATOR, id start back and investigate them first as I think this is your problem I have videos on the sr and also on a aerox VARIATOR system working as it should so you may get to see how it should work and see the problem with yours also many other videos over 270 and 150 on moped so give them a watch and please like and sub mark
i have found the problem. a clutch sing had snapped so the clutch was always engaged. but thank you for the reply!!!! liked and subbed also your videos are very useful.
yes but that what it come up with on the error code ecu006 tps, they really do play up and guessing you have the ditech engine so may need another ecu! bugger as that's not fun and a few £s but it a plug and paly item funny as mine says 007 but runs fine as only come up with a new battery is put on might help with taking all connectors off wd40 clean re set and start again mark

Well ive changed rollers and exhaust and before i got the bike i think it was upjetted but not 100% sure, the bike does about 50mph so do you think its worth it or should i leave the engine set up as it is?

keep the standard air box but maybe a sports insert air filter as for the carb, take the plate out and see what it runs like as ive had this were I removed it and couldn't get it to run right even after tuning so put it back in and it was fine so go figure !! mark
Hi mate I got same Bike Aprilia SR 50 R 2011 My Oil pump stopped working without me realising i rode bike for 200 miles without it working until it started heat seizing, so I bought a 70kit piston/cylinder, It says i will have to upjet carb 7-15% which one you think should be fine what size

Hi mate, just need some advise, my aprilia sr 50 is playing up. It starts and rides fine until it warms up then i go to pull away and the revs go up like normal but then they drop by like 1,000 rpm, any ideas of what it could be? Thanks in advance
I do have a few other videos on the SR's that may be helpful, is it a card or di-tec , if carb id be looking into a service and carb clean plu check auto choke if di-tec then you do have problem as they do play up, however still worth a look and a clean up. I have seen this too with the stator going to earth but start with the other things first
Its a carb model and ive recently cleaned it as i ran it out of petrol about a month ago and no matter what adjustments i make to the carb is still does it
Kai Abram worn piston rings Stuck auto choke so once warm it runs rice That’s the one I go for I have a video on auto choke To test take off and connect to a battery But make sure you put the carb and choke back on properly and didn’t miss anything Check float for flooding too If still doing it come back to me

Also its rather smokey and smells burnt and i pull away the reva go up and then the revs drop to about 5700 and then stays there till the speed picks up however it takes ages
mate that is fuel, check you float and that it is filling up and that when you cleaned it you put it all back together , what air mix are you running , my videos will help and this is only after you ran out of petrol?
it is odd doing it after 3 miles or so so failing after it gets hot!! ive seen this only on carbs and stator coil as once hot they stator coil goes to earth like I have said to you many times bud go over carb again check out stator coil, change plug as they can do this as well bud
Im running 1 and half turns out with the restrictor plate still in there and when i first took the carb apart after running out of fuel the pin that held the float was missing
And yea its since i ran out of petrol but i cleaned the carb and stuff as there was some grit in the bowl of the carb and i got a new pin for the float and put that in there
What ped Air goes to manifold fuel to carb As in my videos Suck one as it comes from vacuum You can't go wrong to find as one of them fuel will come out lol

There are also three cables coming out to the front blinkers, the third one has nowhere to be plugged in. But the blinkers work as the should.
Agree I think it was to side lights .see if it has power to it when running with a volt meter
As for clocks
Check bulbs or and cut / damage wires

Hi mark , do you prefer auto choke sytems on carbs or a manual choke conversion ? Im not sure if inshoukd convert to manual choke
they are so easy as you just get on and go and don't really think about them till they go wrong, as for manual we all have had one then forgot to take it off and conked out a few miles up the road and then have to take it off and start off lol

Well turns out it was the carb however the reason why it wasnt running right was because there was a chunk taken out of the top of the piston
