What part of the state are you hunting?
(I have always hunted north-central Kansas.)
I wish I could still get out and hunt them. But my overall health just won't allow it anymore (can barely walk, even with a cane).
I will live vicariously through the videos on YT.
And when it's warm enough in my shed, work on making the occasional custom horn howler.

I'm now a senior citizen. The desire still beats in me. But the body won't allow it.
And although I am the only family member who ever embraced the calling style of hunting, I am a 3rd generation coyote hunter.
I began hunting them in 1972.
Switched to using hand calls (instead of chasing them), in 1995.

Yep different laws!
Here in Tennessee, we only associate the number 5 with the amount of fingers and toes we have on either our hands and feet. Larger clips consist of far larger numbers than 5 here in the Volunteer State. Sorry for your laws.😢

I’m still confused as to why you seem to immediately withdraw after only shooting one coyote? Wouldn’t it behoove you to continue to call for a period of time on a stand in an endeavour to make each stand more productive?
