  • Geoff and Rick are hunting coyotes and bobcats on Rick's home turf. It's 75 degrees, the wind is blowing anywhere from 30 to 50 mph, and the coyotes are sneaking through the cedars. Geoff gets the opportunity to shoot a big tom Bobcat.

I always appreciate someone who pronounces coyote correctly😂. I guess it's just a pet peeve of mine when people say coyoteee

What's worse is the stupid cutesy names like yotee, song dog, pasture poodle, etc. Outdoors magazine writers are the worst offenders.

Actually the word is from the Spanish in the southwest, coyote is pronounced ko YO tay. The early Americans, saying it fast pronounced it ki yo tee. The bastardization by later Americans, who thought that the "yote" part was from the British with the e on the end making the sound rhyimg with yolk, which is incorrect. This, ki yo tee is correct.

Bro. Jeff, thank you for the transparency of says your hunts are planned weeks in advance and not something you do on Saturdays. Rick, the Prince of Clay Center, thank you for sideways admitting that y’all DO occasionally nap midday. Merry Christmas y’all.

Texas panhandle May, June & July 2021. 95 deg. plus. 14 evening sits and 7 kills before dark. Slow, slow slow. When it's miserable hot and bone dry the dogs come out very late. Sometimes a hour after sunset.

Man, I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of my riot e-call!!! I’ve used it a lot but at 14 months the speaker went out. Then, after I rigged up a different speaker, the remote broke at 15 months. I wish they had at least a two year warranty instead of the one year. I still recommend the lucky duck calls, still to this day to hunters, no kidding. I plan on replacing it when I get the funds. For now, I’m doing just fine with diaphragm calls. Killing the heck out of coyotes up here in West Virginia. Ive had friends have different e-calls of different manufacturers only get a year or so out of their calls. I can’t confirm this but I do believe them. The benefits of the lucky duck calls are the sounds loaded on them. In my opinion nothing else sounds like them, especially the howls that are on them. While running the riot along with other brands the howls and pup distresses just plainly sound more realistic!!! Great video and content. Maybe Santa will bring me a new lucky duck e-call to me for Christmas.

I love the work boys. I just found out that Rick Pollet knows my grandpa. My grandpas name is Jerry Fraiser. I’d love to see you guys do some more coyote hunting here in clay center.

I noticed that Rick was wearing verminator apparel. I have a friend that has a tweety red call that works great out here in western Colorado. You boys wouldn't know where to get a couple more would ya? I would appreciate a lead please. I love watching your videos and always like when someone plays down the fur. Good job.

It's funny because a lot of these animals seem to act exactly like my house cat they call when they see me they approached me when they see me they don't have any fear of humans because they're domesticated you just shot a domesticated cat I hope you're proud of yourself

Quick question when there's no animals to eat the rodents is that when you guys start complaining and start killing the rodents as well because at that point wouldn't have been easier to just let the bobcats do it
