Something I always found really annoying from a gameplay sense but amazing from a lore sense is how the covenants fuel rod cannons would set to blow after awhile, you don't encounter the fuel rod cannons in Halo CE until well after the flood have been released on Installation 04, and the covenant forces under the command of Thel had been waging a desperate war on the ring to try and quell the flood outbreak, the fact the fuel rod is set to explode on the users death is actually a pretty amazing example of subtle story telling because it shows the unorthodox contingencies the covenant are creating to fight the flood. Detonating explosives on their users death denying the flood both useful weapons and biomass.
I always thought the banshee was the most unique player-flown vehicle in any game. The way CE's banshee "screams" and soars around the sky with ease always had an impact on me.
For me I think personally my favorite covenant weapon has to be the needler I think I remember reading and like the Halo 2 manual and it had these custom descriptions of the weapons from Marines perspectives and I think the description they gave for the needler was something a keen to that if one of these things lodged in you and you try to pull it out it just shatters and now you're stuck with a bunch of smaller pieces in the wound.
Could you imagine the headaches one would get on legendary if there were sniper Jackals on Assault On The Control Room level? Or on Truth And Reconciliation Level?

I think Halo CE has the best OVERALL balance of weaponry (minus the magnum, which is generally okay in campaign, but definitely OP for multiplayer). I feel like the Covenant weaponry is VERY useful for what it does, and there is a clear distinction between the UNSC and Covenant weapon functions.

Hey Hidden Experia!! I noticed a small subtle detail from the E3 2019 Infinite trailer!! When Chief walks into the cockpit, the camera zooms in. And as it zooms in, we see that the Halo ring "sits" on top of Chief's head... like in the religious sense. Except this Halo is broken. Not sure if this was intentional or if I'm just over thinking it. What could this entail though?

Thematic significance is omnipresent throughout the Halo franchise. A series as large as this is not pushed out the door without tremendous thought being placed into the ramifications of its artistic meaning. You are not overthinking. This is the mindset our community needs in order to understand Halo.

The Battle/Siege/Fall of Reach sure made quite a number on the Fleet of Particular Justice, what with the lack of so many Phantoms, Jiralhanae/Brutes, and other Covenant units, weapons, and vehicles on the Battle of Installation 04. 5:54: Color me impressed!
You want to know what I like about the Spirit Drop ship because of the Cockpit in the back the Design is honestly weird yes but more functional because the Pilot can also protect it's troops before they drop with the Plasma Cannon.

Kind of makes me wish for a Fireteam: Raven tier re-imagining of the battle for Installation 04, but in the form of a true remake or retelling as a Halo game.
I think the Needler's my favorite cause of the way it's supposedly theorized to work. The Balmite chunks are heated into gas and are then cooled down and formed into the sharp crystals on the top. When fired, the crystals are turned into a gas form again, mixed in with another type of gas element that helps with the heat seeking and cooled and shaped into the crystal projectile that are fired out.
A cool idea for a video could be what happened to the stragglers stranded on reach while the events of installation 04 happened after reach officially falls. Both Spartans and non Spartan personnel.
I have two favorite Covenant weapons from the original trilogy and both were cut for Infinite. I really love using both the Elite plasma rifle and Brute plasma rifle. Especially if I'm carrying one of each. Playing the MCC in 4K@60FPS HDR10 w/Ray Tracing on in Halo 2 Anniversary is the best way to experience them together. The way your screen lights up with blue and red plasma bolts looks so cool reflecting off of everything.

I really like that they didn't go the route of just making an alien version of the human hardware. The Wraith for example shows the different tactics & doctrines that the Covenant learned to use after 3000 years.
This was a fun video~. I've done my research on the Halo weaponry, but it's nice to hear a few tidbits from the weapons that I didn't know about. Always went with the Plasma Rifle & Fuel Rod Cannon combo. Rapid supressive fire to wear down shields quickly, and a faster and stronger explosion-arm to take out the vehicles and armored opponents~. Always did wonders when I had the combo
The covenant arsenal was always lacking in CE, I remember a comment (I think it was a preview of Halo 2) that question how could an alien conquer the galaxy with only 5 hand weapons and a few vehicles? But you did miss a couple although I know these weapons you can never wield. The plasma sword and the CCS cruiser. Also plasma had a freeze mechanic that disappeared on H2.

My personal favorite is the plasma rifle. Few people know this : but it dazes targets in the campaign and slows down players in multiplayer. I always loved to rush towards a sword elite and tear its shields, only to stunlock it until it with plasma before giving him a good whack with the rifle. Probably not as efficient as the noob combo, but it's way more fun. Also it's kinda funny seeing you use millivolts (mV) when talking about megavolts (MV). A mistake I've made twice.
You should do a flood intro man, don't know how you haven't done that yet. Lol Keep up the amazing work, love the videos. My favorite weapon is the CE plasma rifle because it just felt so good. And vehicle is the Spectre from Halo 2, what can I say, it's a fun covenant alternative to the warthog.. plus it had some solid sections in the campaign.
By reading the book The Fall of Reach, mini-particles of the needlers can get inside your body or even in your blood. Could be like glass splitters in your body and may cause damage when it explodes. I might have to read the book again and correct me if I am wrong. But one Marine was looking at his arm and was like "Oh great."
Re Halo CE’s weapons I have three-the Plasma rifle, plasma grenade and the fuel rod gun. Despite the Fuel rod not being available to be used bec of the “dead man’s switch” it’s extremely useful for running and gunning any enemy. As for the plasma grenade I love using it especially on those dreaded Gold and black elites (nothing is more sastifying but to hear them scream post the explosion.) as on legendary they can make life a living hell. The plasma rifle is one of my favorite Covenant weapons hands down-especially against the flood infection forms as I pull the trigger and hold it until it overheats just like the black elites do on Legendary difficulty. Nothing is more sastifying but to watch those annoying infections forms pop like popcorn. I usually have to kill those first when I have my marine allies as those infection forms are a marine’s kryptonite.

My favourite weapon was the Type 33 Needler. Especially when you pair the infinite ammo and the bigger explosions. My favourite vehicle was the Type 26A Banshee especially when I got the hidden one on AOTCR level

In the Halo Encyclopedia it says that the Spirit was a repurposed cargo vehicle, so I think originally it was like a giant flying forklift/tugboat

Thanks for keeping me entertained for all these years especially now during Quarantine I’ve gone back and watched a few of your older videos all still great !
I really like that they didn't go the route of just making an alien version of the human hardware. The Wraith for example shows the different tactics & doctrines that the Covenant learned to use after 3000 years.
This was a fun video~. I've done my research on the Halo weaponry, but it's nice to hear a few tidbits from the weapons that I didn't know about. Always went with the Plasma Rifle & Fuel Rod Cannon combo. Rapid supressive fire to wear down shields quickly, and a faster and stronger explosion-arm to take out the vehicles and armored opponents~. Always did wonders when I had the combo
The covenant arsenal was always lacking in CE, I remember a comment (I think it was a preview of Halo 2) that question how could an alien conquer the galaxy with only 5 hand weapons and a few vehicles? But you did miss a couple although I know these weapons you can never wield. The plasma sword and the CCS cruiser. Also plasma had a freeze mechanic that disappeared on H2.
I was half expecting to see the energy sword but I remembered you can't use the energy sword

Will you cover any of the lore of the brutes weapons added in halo 2/3/reach? Would be interesting to see where they all get their weapons from.
My personal favorite is the plasma rifle. Few people know this : but it dazes targets in the campaign and slows down players in multiplayer. I always loved to rush towards a sword elite and tear its shields, only to stunlock it until it with plasma before giving him a good whack with the rifle. Probably not as efficient as the noob combo, but it's way more fun.
Also it's kinda funny seeing you use millivolts (mV) when talking about megavolts (MV). A mistake I've made twice.

Keep up the amazing work, love the videos. My favorite weapon is the CE plasma rifle because it just felt so good. And vehicle is the Spectre from Halo 2, what can I say, it's a fun covenant alternative to the warthog.. plus it had some solid sections in the campaign.
Halo reach had the best plasma repeater and nobody can deny since it is only in halo reach

By reading the book The Fall of Reach, mini-particles of the needlers can get inside your body or even in your blood. Could be like glass splitters in your body and may cause damage when it explodes. I might have to read the book again and correct me if I am wrong.
But one Marine was looking at his arm and was like "Oh great."
Re Halo CE’s weapons I have three-the Plasma rifle, plasma grenade and the fuel rod gun. Despite the Fuel rod not being available to be used bec of the “dead man’s switch” it’s extremely useful for running and gunning any enemy. As for the plasma grenade I love using it especially on those dreaded Gold and black elites (nothing is more sastifying but to hear them scream post the explosion.) as on legendary they can make life a living hell. The plasma rifle is one of my favorite Covenant weapons hands down-especially against the flood infection forms as I pull the trigger and hold it until it overheats just like the black elites do on Legendary difficulty. Nothing is more sastifying but to watch those annoying infections forms pop like popcorn. I usually have to kill those first when I have my marine allies as those infection forms are a marine’s kryptonite.
What about the sword? I know we couldn't use it but the covenant could.

My favourite weapon was the Type 33 Needler. Especially when you pair the infinite ammo and the bigger explosions. My favourite vehicle was the Type 26A Banshee especially when I got the hidden one on AOTCR level
