MrBigEnchilada the reason why china woman football has a good level compared to men football is that chinese women start football at the same time than the other nations.
Men players started professional football less than 20 years ago, whereas the other nations started more than 70 years ago, and have in comparison, much better techniques, trainings and more experiences. Chinese men have accumulated too many delays, and need much much time to catch up with other nations

China played very well here. I find it funny how the Dutch Goalkeeper made some great saves in this game and yet it was a simple tap in that stopped her.

Looking at that goal, it seems like the artificial turf changed the trajectory of the ball slightly.
SalsabillaThe spin on the ball affected the first bounce. That is some damned good turf they are using. I hate turf but this is decent stuff.
Good job China! The Dutch goalkeeper was pretty impressive having saved some shots. Too bad there weren't many Chinese fans there judging by the massive population they have, this year barely any of the Asian teams are being celebrated for their wins
China will soon catch up with Japan if they keep this up, their team is still very 'youthful' and will only get better over time. Even if they are not title contenders this World Cup they will be in 2019. Especially impressed by the chinese goalkeeper Wang Fei who kept on playing even after the unneccesary challenge from a dutch player. I hope she will be fit and ready for the last group stage game vs New Zeeland.
