China wasted at least a couple of great goal-scoring opportunities one-on-one with Cameroon's goalkeeper in the second half. They could have won 3-0.

***** China scored a bull shit goal, which clearly was never a fucking corner. They Parked the bus the whole time, and Cameroon had more attempts! Did you watch the game? All of china's chances came from the fact that Cameroon played a very high line (like barcelona), which is their game plan! They always closed back quickly on the chinese.

GBooneoh That's football for you. You can out shoot your opponent by any amount and lose as long as they get at least one goal.
GBooneoh Shots on target is a better measure. In 21 attempts, Cameroon only managed 5 shots on target. China only had one less shot on target despite an overall shot count of 9. The Chinese team were much more efficient.

Lose is lose, loser should have no excuse. The best way to prove is one team can win back. Have you ever seen a Chinese guy emphasize reasons this and that. They can accept a lose easily and they can criticize themselves. You guys cannot even accept one lose, cause your heart is not strong enough.

For these competitions to be taken seriously, the refereeing has to be seriously improved! There is a strong need for a fourth official as well. The corner that leads to the Chinese goal was wrongly given as it clearly came off the Chinese player's leg! Should have been a goal kick! Cameroon was the better team as their football was very entertaining unlike the boring Chinese!
***** the officiating might be a factor but it is the performance of players who determines success or failure. Your statement about Cameroon being the better team is so weak because if they were, they should score more than China does. Better team wins, period!
***** For any football competition, the refereeing should be improved. Last year's world cup was ridiculous sometimes.

The Chinese need to take risk and play offensive football against USA if they want to proceed to the semi final. They have what it takes to beat the US but only if they first and foremost believe in themselves, and then never stop attacking throughout the whole match.

China is runners up in 1999, they have ALWAYS made it to the quarterfinals in every world cup except in 2011 when they fail to qualify.
2011 was a tough year to qualify from Asia... Only 3 spots are available and they went to Australia, winners Japan and North Korea who was caught for illegal doping.

These highlights are lame. They tend to show the games as balanced when they are not. China did nothing but parking the bus.

Chris Chen china scored a wrongly judged goal which is unfair and heart breaking to their oponents. Flip the coin. what if cameroon had scored from the corner which was not suppose to be a corner kick? I bet chinese will lament seriously on the poor officiating. China though was a great team with a good game plan. Their striker needs to work on her finishing skills or it might prove futile the next game.
