Got the Alaskan bear one with cups, needed the space for my eyes and side sleeping is a must. Even at the loss of some nose light. It does the job I need it to do for my room. Got monitors in my room on all the time. Hard to sleep with those
@@playimages5705 Nice choice. Do you use any white noise/distraction noises to override those monitors?
@@theothershift no I use my computer as an alarm and it only works when on screen saver. Which even if black still gives enough like to mess up my sleeping patterns. Also have 4 monitors. Do you random videos as noise to help. Combination of things
Loved the energy. Great video. Quick question, if you take the cups out of the manta mask does it help for side sleeping? does light come through? is it any good?
Thanks for commenting Petr.. The mask would be nowhere near as effective without the cups. As long as you're not someone who flip / flops all day / night, then it should still be fine.

the manta looks so nice but being a side sleeper, i guess it doesnt work since others say the same for it not staying in place
I just watched this video more than one time lol I too have seen Manta on social media and i must say i always always suspect when something has such a big marketing . This is the only review that seams to be unpaid and "honest" .. i am a side sleeper and i need total blackout during the night , i've been using a silk mask and is very confortable but it isnt dark enough. I am waiting for the manta pro to arrive, it is expensive ! BUT if its as good as the "normal" with the ability to let me be on my side it will be worth it. I can give feedback if you want, and congratulations for such a lovely video ! My husband would not be a good tester as he sleeps all night with light without any issues .. good to see 2 independent reviewers :)

On another note, I just bought "blackout blinds" on Amazon which are really just black material I've attached to the window and they work surprisingly well. I paid about $50 AUD for them but this could be another option for you? amzn.to/3qxqz5w

Did you wake through your sleep with your manta mask? Or do you mean when you woke up it wasn't on your head?

Hi. Thanks for watching and sorry for the confusion. The manta is a great mask. The only issue was it sometimes slipped off during the night. Since we recorded this video, they have released another mask which I'd actually get over the one we reviewed. It has anti-slip technology and some other better features. The only sus thing about the audible mask is > How do you go about washing it?
Good question. The audible mask can be washed, though you need to remove the speakers and battery pack. Comes with instructions to do this
but the Manta mask is no good for people who love to sleep on the side ....exactly you just said it haha
Michael, the Manta mask overall came out on top, but Dan 100% agreed with you. He needed to spend a little more time on his back when wearing it.
I've bought the Manta Pro and it's brilliant for side sleeping!
