    Very nice! Native plugins are often overlooked but if one just spends time to actually STUDY and play around with them, you can get very good results from them. This video proves it.

    This is top level of tutorials. This is what impossible to create for most of the people, who dont know exect routs of modulation. I mean, you can know all the theory basics, and spend many hours of trying to recreate what you heard, and it will not be possible to get what you need. These knowledge is so deep and specific that it is accessible only to those who are given this ability to understand the nature of modulations and fine tunings. This knowledge was very valuable secrets, that for many years no one wanted to reveal to anyone. 20 years ago, when I was trying to find someone, who could show me what and how to tune on the synthesizer, I could not find and learn almost nothing. There were only a few soft synths available, that didn't have any options for these sounds at all, especially in randomization ways. Now is a golden era of sound design software and discovered knowledge in this area. Big thanks for your knowledge!🦉

    other consonant ratios are: 0.34, 0.25, 0.67, and 0.75 these can give interesting results too

    • @CelestialTextures
      @CelestialTextures  Před 3 lety +3

      True, but this classic psy FM lead has a very strong fundamental which involves octave ratios :) This has to do with the style of lead, rather than other ratios and the resulting sound.

    Thanks for the great video! I went to go have a try but my wavetable doesn't have random in the matrix, can anyone help at all please?

    • @CelestialTextures
      @CelestialTextures  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello Isaac, thanks for kind words. When you open Wavetable, go to the MIDI tab and press it.
      The modulation matrix should change to some green parameter values.
      The furthest parameter on the right is "Rand". This is the MIDI random that you can assign at a Target and send new random values at every note trigger.
      In this video where Wavetable is in expanded view (little triangle next to the bypass button on the top left), the Rand parameter is 3rd from the right.

      @@CelestialTextures how to enable the note PB and the slide in the midi modulation?

    • @CelestialTextures
      @CelestialTextures  Před 3 lety +1

      @@bashav619 Just put the desired amount in the modulation matrix and then either use an MPE MIDI controller or go to the MPE tab in Ableton's MIDI editor and draw what ever values you want.

    • @isaacbottrell6730
      @isaacbottrell6730 Před 3 lety

      @@CelestialTextures Hi thanks for the reply, when I click on MIDI I only have the options of Vel, Note, PB, AT, MOD. Is there a way to add random? If not I'm assuming it's because I haven't upgraded to 11 yet.

    • @CelestialTextures
      @CelestialTextures  Před 3 lety +1

      @@isaacbottrell6730 I see in Live 10 right now and the next parameter on the right from "Mod" is "Rand".
      So its not specific to Live 11. Its also available in Live 10.
