Nice work man!
I learned a bunch from this video and im one of the producers on the original track 😅
OMG welcome sir it's an honor! 👊❤
Lol amazing I love CZcams
The content isn’t style particular but universal!
Thanx to the author
😂😂😂
Westend!!!😈
The way this video is mixed with the track you're developing being constantly played is absolutely fantastic, hats off.
outstanding!
Agree! This is an awesome concept! 👍
This
Absolutely. I wonder if you would make more money from a video like this than you would just releasing the track? But excellent tuition definitely
Well that's how all music works really. Music in a vacuum is meaningless. There needs to be a story, a reason for its existence, a brand/identity behind. It needs to be "remarkable" in the original definition of the word: worth remarking upon. That's how it spreads because people have a reason to tell others.
This video is so well made. The way you keep it continuous without any breaks or stops really helps with keeping the flow of thought when your explaining something in real time.
Blown away at the presentation style. Talking and explaining at the same time as the music examples. The seamless style (build as you go) is so engaging (and it doesn't hurt that the song itself is pretty awesome). Your pacing is excellent too, not staying on one thing for too long but also not rushing. I loved it! Subbed!
I was thinking the same damn thing. It had me laughing it was so good lol
it's so amazing how you explain everything so calmy and creating a track that's hard as shit at the same time 😂
Haha yeah I always wondered if that juxtaposition would hurt me on CZcams,
But I'm glad some seem to be into it.
I just couldn't bring myself to do that mega hyped influencer thing, not me at all! 👊
I Should have said "this depends on your lead hook" instead "this depends on your vocal". Hopefully you get the idea👊👍
Hands down one of the best music writing videos I’ve seen in YEARS 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
i used to be a producer and this video is just brilliant. Back in the days I would also go through the top tracks of a genre and then simply copy the most common features. Eventually I even got somehwat of a "hit" and made some money that I used to finance college. Sometimes I miss those days
What I really like about your content is that even if it is completely off my genre, it is still really helpful.
Same here. I don't know how I ended on a video about making tech house, but this is fantastic.
This has helped me out so much! Thank you!
So well made! Thank you
Dude this is so well put together! What a joy to watch! cant wait to see more from you!
dude this is too great, always appreciate the content you're putting out!
So glad I found your channel, so much to learn. Thank you for your content!
I’ve spent almost 20 years of my life writing melodic music, recently a friend asked me to teach how how to produce and he’s big into tech house, I couldn’t for the life of me get anything to sound good, I could get it sounding ok but not decent, I now know that’s because I was writing in minor! Great video! Defo earned a sub with notis on 💯
Yes please do another video on this where we would not expect other scales would love to see that this is very helpful when working with modular and stuff like this
Dance genres are often about knowing the techniques rather than outright music theory. I think alot of modern genres are very limited or narrowband musically because they land on a sound and that becomes the genre. Soon gets repetitive and boring, hence why modern genres don't last long.
The good trance, dance is from the 90's. It was a another world and real music.
Thanks, Great lesson.
thank you for the insight !!!
