Very good presentation. Now can you make comparisons for 2023-2024 hardware? UDM SE, UXG 4…etc

Hi there, how loud is the fan of the UXG? I thought it was a fanless device as there was no usual exhaust fan grill.
Does the fan turn OFF if it’s cool enough? Thanks

It's in my server room which is loud already, so I cannot tell the fan noise.

This is interesting, but you are comparing 3 completely different products. USG4 (Pro) is a Gen 1 product and virtually EOL now. The UXG Pro is a replacement for the USG Pro and the UDM-Pro is an all in one router, switch and application. Given the UXG is a replacement for the USG then this would be better to compare these two devices. The UDM Pro is aimed at a completely different market.
Interesting comparison sure, but i fail to see any relevance given these are aimed at completely different markets

You are very subtle about usg pro and it’s design. It’s crap isn’t it?

To manage AP’s, you need network controller; to manage cameras, you need UniFi Protect. Both are available for UDM-Pro, but for UXG, you need a separate device to run network controller, and a UNVR to run UniFi Protect. To power your AP and cameras, you also need PoE switch.
To summarize: if you choose UDM-Pro, you need a PoE switch; if UXG, you need a device/approach to run controller, an UNVR, and a PoE switch.
