    Where are you hanging your beautiful lanterns?

      I hung mine in my living room, in front of the window. I put some dark blue decorative rocks in there to match my curtains and put an LED candle on top. It looks beautiful indoors as well!

    Had a hard time figuring out the lanyard know and it was much harder than I thought it would be to get the right spacing on all the other knots. Very cute but harder than it looks!

    So how "long' is 'long' ? Kinda important. What link below for tying a lanyard?

    very cute. I made it. it was easy. except for the bottom. the beginning of a crown knot. you just gotta make sure it's centered when u are tightening it up. other than that. very easy.

    How long dos string lengths need to be?

    • @LindiandRuss
      @LindiandRuss  Před 7 lety

      I made mine from one finger to the other, all the way across my arms and body. You may need to experiment based on the size of your jars. Longer is safer :)

    how do you tie up the top, the piece that hangs?

    • @LindiandRuss
      @LindiandRuss  Před 5 lety +1

      It's just a traditional knot at the top!

  • @GillianFoleyZA

    That first bit is the hardest and you need to slow it down HEAPS more. I’m still stuck on the lanyard knot 😔

    It would be just a little helpful to know what "long" is?

    • @LindiandRuss
      @LindiandRuss  Před 6 lety

      Donna Anderson the length is dependent on how big your mason jars or containers are and how closely you tie your knots so it varies for everyone. As a start I would suggest at least the tip of your fingers across your body to the tip of your fingers on the other side. Thanks for watching!
