Hi! I am auditioning for a band in a few months and I would really wanna play this as part of the audition. Where can I get this music? Thanks!

We will have a new set of etudes out very soon! This is from last year.

This guys triplets had virtually no space in between them. Not sure if I should be impressed or concerned

I thought of it as more buoyant and light.. I find that when I try to have too much 'space' (assuming you are actually referring to the second etude?) between staccatos I just get inaccuracy and not a light sound. What's your take?

Why did you play the A natural with the 3rd valve instead of the 1st and 2nd valve combination? Does this make it easier?

Trin, Another trumpet player here, playing above staff A with the 3rd valve is just a preferred alternate compared to the 1st and 2nd valve fingering.

Trin makes it less out of tune

Hi Trin - just wanted to bring the pitch down a bit. 3rd valve is an excellent alternative above the staff.
