Thanks so much for watching everybody! I hope you enjoyed watching me feed my pet scorpions! Thank you so much to my 4 new patrons this week: www.patreon.com/Reptiliatus . Don't forget to answer today's QUESTION OF THE DAY! Have a great week and see you all on Friday!
I have a Hottentotta Flavidulus male, love watching him hunt his crickets & moth! 🦂🤘🏾🔥🔥🔥
It's so freaky and oddly satisfying at the same time
Glad you liked it!
The best takedown was when that cricket walked into the scorpions tail😂😂👍.
As someone who appreciates scorpions for the amazing invertebrates they are; and someone who loves and appreciated modern science and medicine, I appreciate you sharing your collection with us and keeping animals that have such medical and scientific significance. And showing how specialized these predators are at how they take down their prey. I will never get over how cool scorpions are
Thank you! I can certainly agree! I am a firm believer that many advancements and discoveries in medicine and science will come from the places humanity are least willing to look. If you google research in invertebrate venom, the medicinal research that is being conducted and the beneficial implications to humanity are quite fascinating!
bro you are literally "non-binary". You don't appreciate science if your mentally ill as# thinks you can be a 'third' gender LOL

I can't believe I didn't know that their 'tails' were an extension of their full body.
Any chance you can do some slow-mo of them stinging?
Oh wait what, nice fact and I'm a bit ashamed of myself. But you can never now everything.
I enjoyed being the litle creacher at the very beginning. A moment of calm in this Human Sentient Body
Creature
@@Violet-Lily That spelling was very much on purpose - v - It comes from a popular cat caption account, for which the cat passed away in 2019 due to FIV related complications. I also just like to spell things in a funny way, which is fine, it's not very nice to correct people who didn't ask
@@LilKitLen Some people just can’t help themselves. 🙃
Scorpions are amazing hunters, the problem is that they don’t eat whenever you want. It may take months in order for them to become sufficiently hungry and eat in front of you. I think that the last takedown was definitely the greatest, but the first also was quite unexpected, as you said she hasn’t eaten for a long time.
Exactly. That happens and can be a bit frustrating. Makes their care very easy though 😉! Thanks for watching!
Scorpions are interesting creatures! This video was fascinating to watch them eat!! 🦂🦂
I'm glad you liked it!
@@Reptiliatus 😁
You'd love how fast and psychotic my Arizona Bark Scorpions are.
I’ve seen them in the wild while looking for them in Arizona! Such cool scorpions!
scorpion see's anything, *ITS FOOD*
Bye bye 🦗!!! Yum 🦂
That male at 9:00 had me laughing and a bit scared
That last one man, she’s a beast!
Indeed!
I never knew that about the scorpion "not a true tail" butt XD That's cool! Those are some beautiful species, I've been looking into getting an asian forest scorpion for a while. As much as I love the geckos and lizards and skinks, I gotta say I really appreciate getting to see some of your arachnids lately. Can't wait for the dart frog video!
Thanks for sharing your routine with these "not for everyone" scorpions!
I only have fake ones...
Meaning tiny little pseudoscorpions that decided to take up residence in my isopod bin...
Oh and that last takedown was obviously the best! For a moment I thought that Uroplectes might flip right outside of the enclosure...
I so admire the respect and love you have for these creatures! They're truly incredible.
Thank you so much! They really are! It’s important to spread that!
But dangerous
I have 3 in my collection, waiting on my girl to give me the okay to get more lol. Love the work and videos brother! Please post more about these guys.
love your security, well thouht out.subbed!
Thanks!
Cool intro buds! 😍
Listen too those peepers in the background! They sound like frogs! Lol
QOTD: loved the reaction of the first Hottentatta!
Love your vid, I've been keeping scorpions for 10 years or over, desert species are my main favorite and go to when I comes to scorpions, you earned my subscription, I'm I know I'm just a random. Nobody special. But I love videos like this and barley found your channel. Def will be binge watching for a while. Enjoy.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
these are sooo cooool! im not a huge fan of scorpions but i do find them very fascinating, and i remember when i was younger and spent a few months in the Utah wilderness i came across so many scorpions. I remember one time i woke up with a teeny tiny baby scorpion curled up on my pillow a few inches away from my face lol. not sure what species it was, idk much about scorpions but im going to assume it was a giant desert hairy because the adults i saw were rather large and yellow but its been a while so i dont remember specifics.
as fascinating as they are, i dont think i would ever keep a scorpion. i think my love of inverts is mainly centred around tarantulas xD
Thanks for sharing! Wow not gonna lie, I appreciate and have a love for scorpions but I definitely wouldn’t want to wake up with one next to my face!
the male huttontata's prey was giving him a massage so he could stay alive and not get eaten
Unfortunately he was "fired" for not rubbing hard enough...
HaHa i know he payed the price for a lousy job
@@Reptiliatus More likely 'terminated'.🤣 Awesome video btw. I am a big fan. Lots of love and regards from India🙏
Love the tarantula and scorpion feeding vids!
I'm glad! Thanks for watching!
Awesome video dude! Loved the H. hottentotta.
Thank you very much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Feeder care and frog vids pleassssse. Also love the background sound of the frogs or crickets and the water you should make a reptile room ASMAR.
That last girl was savage! She earned that cricket dinner! You got some incredible close up footage💖,I don't know a whole lot about buggos,i appreciate them though, and I definitely thought scorpion's tails were just tails til tonight so thanks for the bit of education
Agreed! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and learned something in the process too!
Hi!!! So u are amazing...so professional and love it that u take the for the very important words of caution you give...much respect to you..👏👏👏👏🕷🕷🐳🐠🦊🐅🦚🐢🐅🐸🦩🐛🦜🦎🦩🦖🐋🐊🦔🦧💯💯😘🤗🤟🤙
Thank you so much for the kind words! I appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
I think that yours Uroplectes Fisheri is a high intelligence hunter!
Even in slow motion, the last one was still hard to see! Crazy!
Right?! 💥🦂
Had to take care of my roommates scorpion, hated it, but glad you're happy 💜
Nice feeding! 🤟🏼
Great job on this vid please keep this up...
This just makes me grateful these guys aren't bigger than they are! They would very terrifying. Seriously, they're remarkable creatures. My fave was definitely the last 1.
interesting thought!
I love the scoyions feeding days. I think it would be so cool if we could see a few of the scorpions taking a few bites of their prey.
Glad you enjoyed the video Tracy! It takes them
quite some time to get into the prey but I’ll
definitely make some effort to share that with you all next time!
In Poland, right now we have final high school exams that are very stressful for all the students. This video is a perfect opportunity for me to chill out, thanks
Good luck on your exam(s)! I am happy this vide gave you something to do as a little study break!
h8me2 Good luck on your final exam my friend.
Dion, I can hear your froggies chirping!!! They are yelling, "When is our video coming out!!!!" LOL Cheers!!!
Hahaha soon! 🐸☺️
The little guy pumped the cricket full with venom and penetrate it with that stinger like crazy, I hope it's tasty for the little guy even he overspiced the cricket a bit ;)
Was intense for sure! Thanks for watching!
The last time I saw scorpions was in Italy🇮🇹. They were brownish, about 2 inches in size. They were cool looking.
Remember Clash of the Titans? The original… Caliboss uses Medusa’s blood to enlarge 4 scorpions… Truck sized scorpions…
The Lady at 14:11 has Class ! and she's not just a pretty face, .. she's Smart !
Blimey obviously the last one was Awsome !! ☄️💥🔥 unbelievable how it could eat something the same size as it’s self 😲
Thanks for sharing your vote! Agreed! So amazing’
the last takedown was the best
Arthropods are the most powerful, dangerous, beautiful and adaptable family of animals. Mother Nature had ever made.
Hello great video feeding the last one Dayyan
Thank you very much!
Awesome love your vids keep going
Thank you so much! I'm happy you are enjoying the video!
Well you just made my day by replying
Great feeding video
Thanks so much!
The last one was the best.
this is the first time i saw your videos... i like it... are you starting breeding these and sell it as well? i am a keeper of Ts since 2014 and i have few forrest scorps but never tried having those venomous ones yet
Lovely collection
Thank you!
Your dessert scorpions are absolutely gorgeous.i wonder how often do you feed them. I just got my Asian rainforest scorpion, he doesn’t seem hungry
I thank you the scorpions are great thanks it's great video
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Amazing video, I have a Asian forest one. I plan to get more in the future
Thank you kindly!
I gotta say I loved the last one, but Mr. Over does it I have to say takes the cricket 🦗 🎂 cake

You need more viewers🤟🏼🤟🏼 hope you gain more viewers and subs broo
Thanks! Hopefully 😅
Hi mate, can I ask how you drilled the holes so nicely on the lids of the tubs? You have rings around them, looks nice
This guy must be high on that venom
Great video, as usual.
What are you using for the substrate and rocks in your setups? They look so much more attractive than the ones I’ve done. I’d love to try what you’re trying.
Also, big respect for the safety warnings at the beginning. I’m always shocked at how many people don’t factor that stuff in with their medically significant inverts. You’d probably love the custom enclosure I had made for my wandering spider 😊
Thank you so much for your continued support! I’m using the new Exo terra desert substrate! I actually made a video about the rehouse here: czcams.com/video/8j8zH9xkC7g/video.html
Thanks! I think it’s very important to give these types of disclaimers when showcasing animals that are this dangerous with not kept responsibly.
Cool! Would love to see!
@@Reptiliatus I've been extremely sick lately (Alpha gal-- the ironic entomologist illness), but I'll get you a reply video on the enclosure soon.
Such fascinating creatures
Thank you so much it was really wonderful video but how we know the Male or Female of Scorpion ? i also have about 5 Scorpion's i love it all
in the take downs, I agree with you totally, that skorpion was crazy !
but it is not an Isopod video. How are they doing ?
Isopods are doing well :). Hopefully not too long for a new isopod video :)
i have goosebumps...
those take downs were crazy!!!
Man wat a trip! Awesome n Dangerous!
after watching a few of these videos i relize that scorpions are amazing creatures and will concidering getting one in the future after i learn and get the proper training to care for them
Wonderful! I recommend Heterometrus as a great beginner genus :)!
OH, thanks for the recommendation, now it know witch one to pick. Cant wait for fridays video and a dart frog update to
Your so crazy lol I can not be in your house ... Love your videos.. 👍. Your crazy for real though lol
The last scorpion feeding was the best hands down
Agreed!
I really want one but never got one but the more videos I watch, the more I want onr
This video made me wanna get one 😭 I probably won't though. I handled them once, that was exciting but I definitely felt respect for them lol. The owner put them in my hand and immediately told another customer their stings are very painful LMFAO
My favourite scorpion is the Uroplectes Fischereri
Hey Dayyan, how do you heat your scorpions? I will be building a heated cabinet for my bigger scorpion enclosures, since the current heating situation isn't really practical anymore for the amount of scorps I have now. Would like to get some inspiration from other keepers.
Hey Dion I was wondering if when you make a bioactive tank do you need springtails and iPods together do you have to feed them and what plants should I use and if you do feed them what do you feed them and how do you care for them and are they a lot of work to take care of?
Such a cool collection! I've just started my scorpion journey and of course me being me, my first/only scorp at this moment is my parabuthus transvaalicus.*with as much sarcasm as possible* Such a great starter species right?!
Thanks very much! Lol wow 😅! Just watch your eyes 👀, they can spray venom!
New subscriber. Very cool.
Thank you so much! Welcome!
Great job on this one. I do have a suggestion, do a feeding with quick responses at a slower speed.
Thank you so much! Great suggestion too
What breeder could you suggest or that you may know has these two scorpions in stock ? The Uroplectes Fischeri and the African hissing scorpion .
Wow I wouldn't really want a scorpion but if.i did I would want one like the guy with the crazy stinger he don't play 😂😂😂
He was def crazy!
Imagine these creatures and spiders being size of cows/horses… I wouldn’t leave my house ever again.
Would be pretty crazy!
Where can I get some good books on scorpions
Are the dangerous scorps all for a dry enviroment or are there some for a rainforest setup?
you should get a hottentotta zagrosensis
Do you have a suggestions on where to get a Uroplectas Fischeri ? Been trying to find one over the last year . Actually had one secured in ordering it yesterday , but received a text message ( sorry but we out of stock )
Do you sell any of these beautiful scorpions?
i cant think of anything worse then being reincarnated as a cricket lol
True say
I'm visiting Thailand soon, there are scorpions in Thailand. Should I be concerned about encounters with scorpions, and what type of scorpions are in Thailand?
I love arachnids!
me too! :)
does your substrate available in market
Hello my adult crested gecko does not eat any more insects than you can advise me as an insect so that he can eat it again thank you. Your animals are beautiful
another banggerr
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Hello! Why don’t they burrow? They are allways out. Can you explain it? Thank you
Most dangerous thing I've kept were black widows
Stay tuned 😉
@@Reptiliatus Oh boy, now I'm hyped
Hello, what kind of soil is suitable for scorpions? How many hours do scorpions need sunlight? What percentage of moisture do scorpions need? Do parent scorpions live together? Can a large number of scorpions be kept together? And after the mother of the scorpions gives birth, the other scorpions do not harm the children.
where you have shop your substrate?
How often do you feed them
How often do you feed them?
Does anybody know a place (site/app) where you can share and ask questions about keeping invertebrates? There’s plenty of communities about reptiles and amphibians but haven’t really found one including insects.
Yes! I would recommend joining arachnoboards forum :)
Nice
Thank you!
What kind of sand are those?
Wow
I imagine that it was really hard not to laugh when you were filming the intro.😂
Edit: It's so cool how you know all of the scientific names. I have trouble remembering all of my reptiles scientific names and I only have four!
Haha it was a fun intro. Thanks for the kind words! You really have to learn the Latin names for inverts. Most don’t really even have specific common names. That or they are too similar to other species. You pick it up fast from reading the names all the time and saying them, etc :)
Thank you for watching!
@@Reptiliatus Your videos always make my day and I hope you have a great day in return!😁
@@addytaylor3490 I’m so glad to hear that! My day is made because your day is made! Take care and see you on Friday!
Amazing video's!
Hey man, where do you get those plastic containers for you're scorpions??
Hey I ordered a Leiurus quinquestriatus but it’s colors don’t really look one, I emailed them and they said they were confident that it was an LQ but to me it looks like a Leiurus hebraeus, could you take a look if you got time? I can send over a picture.
