I’m sure enjoying y’all’s videos here in Rock Hill, SC, hometown of Luke Brown. I put that in to prove not all us here are rube ropers😜. Like to hear other’s options on the following. I heel, don’t feed out my loop. Heard Tyler Magnus say “feeding is over rated, more problems are caused by feeding than not feeding”. I’m 68 and have some arthritis in my hands from football and lacrosse. So....I start with the size loop I’m going to deliver. What I get then is the same size loop every time. It took some getting used to the first swing with a big loop but I’ve got it down now. Anyone else doing this or am I a freak?
I think if that is what helps you be more consistent, then do it! Some people feed a ton and some don't at all. I am right there in the middle! Thanks for sharing!

What do you use like a super soft or soft or medium soft I’m starting to get into roping and I want to buy a rope but idk what level of softness I should get
Just preference. I like an extra soft most times. Depends on the weather though.
More often than not I go to buy a rope and don’t buy one cause it’s not just right.
