Would a 5/16 rope work for calf tie down or do I need a 3/8?

I bought a calf rope from the NRS website its a bit thick but i love the feel of it, are there slimmer ones or no?

There sure are! They range in size from 8.0 to 11. The smaller the number, the thinner the diameter. 👍🏻
