Man I gotta disagree with eyes and ears, they should be vice versa! The eye is full of design flaws, while the ear (the cochlea in particular) is an engineering masterpiece!
Eye: backwards retina? Blind spot? Get a grip!
Ear: performs Fourier analysis for sound signals. Integrates vestibular system to the same organ to save space. And don't get me started on sound localization! These bad boys can't orient like eyes and are basically 1-dimensional, but they team up and tell you where the sound is coming from based on microsecond-scale time difference!

As someone with a uterus and ovaries, yes those fuckers are wonders of nature, but they also cause so much PAIN.
Endometriosis is one of the most painful chronic afflictions people can have (and I stand by that assessment), and the fact that the ovaries don’t always make all the eggies go to the uterus but sometimes let them wander out into the abdominal cavity to cause ectopic pregnancies which KILL, make ovaries and the uterus bad design badboys.
Plus, who invented periods?? Why not just reabsorb all that blood instead of becoming an open and bleeding internal wound each month? Ridiculous! Bad design.
D tier.
Reading stuff like this reminds me how desperately we need more research to be done on the uterus and ovaries. Like why do they cause so many problems? HOW are eggs able to escape the tubes and cause ectopic pregnancies so often??? and most importantly, why the hell did we evolve to have periods??? I feel like there isn't enough done for people with uteruses :((((
@@emmym9276 the majority of ectopic pregnancies occur within the Fallopian tubes, not outside them. An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg implants somewhere not inside the uterine cavity
@@tanya5322 Yeah most ectopic pregnancies are in the fallopian tubes but Abdominal ectopic pregnancies also happen.
I was thinking this too. A lot of the organs get points detracted for the problems they cause, the uterus shouldn't be exempt from that.
bleh whatever What? 😂
Dude, describing what ears do would sound damn-near magical if we didn't have them ourselves. I mean they allow you to remote-sense things you can't touch or even see based solely on changes in air pressure. You can detect a predator behind a bush because they stepped on a twig. You can hear your neighbor banging behind a solid wall. Ears are a literal wall-hack.
Not to mention that the inner ear also acts like a gyroscope and allows us to detect changes in motion. Admittedly that makes it responsible for sea sickness, car sickness and simulation sickness, but that's more the brain's fault for interpreting signals wrong than it is the inner ear's.
Smell is the weird one for me. You're doing a chemical annalysis of the air around you at all times and you can't turn it off. I could be invisible and silent but you would still detect the particles wafting off of me.

@@ergohack All good!
I'm currently on medication that makes my brain more useful, maybe D to E tier, but still needs some external help because it can't figure sh*t out itself
Your brain: *S tier*
My brain: *instant F tier*
Nature vs Nurture?
Nahhh, it's all luck
The brain is top tier just because it controls all the other parts of the body without us thinking about it.
Really enjoyed this
Absolutely Fabulous video
THANK YOU! The liver is the most underrated organ ever! Huge liver enthusiast here
Plus it's not an attention seeker like other major organs
It's great with a nice chianti...
yo but seriously imagine being a cannibal and starting to nibble on some guy's liver while it's still in him and then it's like *"yeah nah watch this mate"* and just regenerates like the absolute indestructible gigachad it is
@Hernando Malinche Why is this a FUN fact?
I'm pretty sure there's a Greek legend about someone having their liver nibbled at. For eternity. Some kind of punishment.
@@danielfogli1760 yeah that was big daddy Prometheus
This video is incredible. Had me dying minute after minute.
Shots fired @Doc Schmidt 13:03. Can't wait for his tier list.
