Well I didnt say it wouldnt get the job done! These F series trucks in the Uhual fleet are still pretty new so the reliability issues still haven't completely developed. But they still use a very large amount of fuel compared to the diesel alternative! Each job/move is different! And different trucks work for different applications. Thanks for watching!
crazyjdkid Well, when we moved, my dad put his 5000 lb 2005 Ford F-150 on a trailer and the truck handled it just fine. The truck was fully loaded and so was the Ford F-150. And it did use a lot of gas. I think we got like 8 or 9 miles per gallon.
Get Playyed yeah, certainly not the coolest sounding truck out there! They do still have a ton of those GMCs in their fleet, Uhual runs them till they physically cant anymore. Thanks for watching!
crazyjdkid Yeah the older ones were better, I remember when even their small trucks were diesels. I moved a lot as a kid and my parents would just rent from them.
Alright so my gf told me the one we want is like 179$ what do you do to get them cheaper ? Dishing out nearly $200 for their crap trucks doesn’t sound ideal lmao
Well Budget Rental trucks right now has a 20% off coupon. You get Uhual to price match that(unless you would rather use Budget). And it should be a ball park $31/day and 56 cents a mile! You can haggle with Uhual a lot, especially if you call the cooperative call center. It kind of depends on location as well and availability. With Penske I have a customer account with them and essentially get their cheaper commercial rate. How long are you getting on for and is it round trip or one way?
crazyjdkid so I’m just moving this upcoming weekend. I need the truck Friday and Saturday. One way, it’ll be picked up in BG unless I can somehow get a good deal In Columbus with unlimited miles
Well, we had a truck like that that we used to move from Arkansas to Michigan. 800 miles, not a single problem.

@@jaimeeckert4885 Yep! That's the problem with these V10s they are very thirsty!
The startup sound sounds like a Rolls Royce V12 Startup! Am I right?
yes you are
sounded very identical to a rolls royce
nice. :) did u get a shot from the exhaust pipe?
I did! It will probably come out in a week or so! Thanks for watching!
ur welcome :) o ok cool :)
Anybody know what that sound is pre start?
It's the hydraulic brake booster
@@crazyjdkid ok, my family used to have a tiffin allegro open road with a gasoline 6.8 v10 and it always made that noise pre startup
Lmao nice underwhelming sound. I see these damn things everywhere. I also see the GMC 26’ trucks too

Bugatti starter?
Haha yep it sounds pretty cool! Kind of spools up. Thanks for watching!
It is unique, though I think the older starters from the older V8's sounded way better.
It is unique and sounds a bit different on camera!
It does sound like a Bugatti now that you mention it.
