- Ever wonder how people create these wonderful city laser cut maps? Well today I'll be going through all of the steps I take to make that happen! We'll look at how to break the project down, Snazzy Maps, Photoshop, and Lightburn to create this beautiful piece.
If you have other ideas on what I should create next please reach out below!
Since Snazzy Maps haven't published the styles yet I've created a Google Drive location to pull the JSON for each layer. I also have instructions on how to take the JSON and import it into Snazzy Maps.

Very nice video, thanks. I just cannot find your styles in snazzy. Can you share them?
I thought when I saved them it went to the community but when looking it up I had to publish. I'll provide the links when they're approved! It states it takes 48 hours.
Hello, they still haven't published but I created a Google Drive link with the JSON for each (Water, Local, and Major Roads) and instructions on how you can take that and import to Snazzy Maps to get the same views I have!

Awesome video!
Awesome
Thanks for watching! I appreciate the support!
Great video Steven. Finally a step by step walkthrough. I was wondering if you mind sharing where you get your frames from? I have bought a few but none look as good as yours.
FYI Snazzy Maps *styles* are free to use, but they're applied to Google Maps, which are not allowed for commercial use.
Select color range should work for your white area removal.
Thanks for the info! Sometimes when we do something for so long you find out there's a WAYYYY better way to do something and you can probably find multiple in my PS "skills" haha!
Learned a lot from your video - thanks!
@@Aviator4468 glad to hear it! It's my first video so it may have been a little rough at times but glad you got a lot from it! More to come!
@@Aviator4468 Glad to hear it! This is my first video and wanted to share a project that troubled me for awhile. May have been rough at times but glad to see people got something from it!
Thanks for sharing your process. Is there a way to export a vector from snazzy maps?

what and where do you get your wood?
This is the wood I use for a large majority of my projects! I feel like it provides the most reliable results and Home Depot everyone has in the area at least in the US
