      Thats becuz being mean is a self defense tactic most of the times
      "A lion doesnt need to tell anyone that he is a lion"
      But you see smaller animals act up and pose all the time.
      Its self defense
      Heavyweights dont need that, they actually try to "unscare" people, cuz the baseline is that everyone is scared of him
      When i was my biggest and fittest, i also had to "be nicer" to not scare people away
      Now that i lost like 15 kg and am not as a fitt anymore, i sometimes have to be mean to show people there is a line to my niceness

    Both fighters are real professionals, no trash talking, just ultimate respect. Was surprised to see DC and Stipe having such a good time together and that’s how it should be. Respect for the other guy, win or lose. The Colbys and Conors of this world should learn from these guys. It shows they respect the sport and acknowledge how dangerous it can. Some say the trash talking sells the fight and I agree to an extent, but there should be boundaries. That’s why Khabib and Conor, Usman vs Colvington 1 and 2, and Dustin Poirer vs Conor 2 and 3 are probably my most satisfying experience since I started watching the UFC. Much love and respect for Francis and Stipe for keeping it real

    Francis face at the end after fighting one of the rare men on earth who beat him for 5 rounds is crazy completely different fighter this time around so I don’t wanna hear Stipe age excuses this version of Francis not losing to anyone in UFC history except Jon Jones and even then I see Francis winning 2/3 fights if it’s a trilogy

    • @user-nv2wt4hi8t
      @user-nv2wt4hi8t Před 2 lety +9

      It is crazy seeing Stipe's eye from just a few of the Ngannou hits that did land. I absolutely think Francis beats Jones but Stipe in the first fight absolutely ruined Francis on all fronts. It was absolute humiliation how easily he beat him on all fronts, like a father beating his small child, not a man dominating a man 20lbs heavier than him with astonishing ease.
      From throwing 7-8 unanswered straights at the ultimate one heavy hitter killer in Francis' home territory of striking (Stipe's a Golden Gloves champion but the hype was on Ngannou during the lead up with all the comparisons to him hitting the equivalent of a car), to launching 265lbs Francis the ring and pounding his face during top control and gassing him beyond repair. Stipe slaughtered him in that fight.
      But it's a true testament to the champion Francis is how the minute the post fight press conference started, he looked the reporters dead in the eye, acknowledge the holes he must fill and then went away and clearly drilled his wrestling, his cardio and patience, given how both the 2nd Stipe fight went where he was absolutely controlling the takedown attempts, kept reserved and assassinated Stipe and the same with the Gane fight where he again showed his seriously improved wrestling, patience and cardio, this time against a master Muay Thai striker.

    • @HunchoHamza
      @HunchoHamza Před 2 lety +1

      @@user-nv2wt4hi8t good take! Francis was also relatively new to the sport 3-4 years in to MMA training similar to Khamzat but Khamzat is just not being thrown into the deep waters! I’m pretty sure Kamaru would just do what Stipe did to him right now even but differently since both of there wrestling will cancel out it will come down to 5 round cardio and boxing and kicks which I feel like the gap in there stand up and cardio is huge assuming KAMARU bounces back healthy and stays in his prime! But back to Francis it’s gonna be so sad if we lose one of the best fighters to ever step foot in the UFC because of cheap ass Dana! Why can’t the guy who dreamed of being a boxer get to box on the side and make more money for himself and his people he’s humble and truly kind but these contracts man I blame the fighters for signing it but I blame the president/owner Dana much more when you see a truly great talent and specimen like Francis you pay him what he wants! @user-nv2wt4hi8t Před 2 lety

      @@HunchoHamza Absolutely right. While I do feel like a contract is a contract and, especially in a sport, you can only guarantee (to the degree that anything is certain in life) your health, safety, time and commitment by staying with that one company in the duration of the contract, at the same time, pay the man his worth or he's going to look for other employers. It was absolutely shocking seeing how Ngannou is only on about 600k compared to Fury who's on about 40 million including bonuses, given they're fighting for their lives in that game, particularly at heavyweight where any big hit if landed properly can destroy you.

Both men are considered GOATs of their divisions and at their peak, were big PPV draws who got many fans into MMA. For the UFC to show Francis Ngannou KO'ing Stipe Miocic is part of the business, nothing dirty about it. All the noise about it being dirty is just Stipe fans being whiny.

    I can tell what the problems were in the rematch for miocic. First of all they did not prepare for Ngannou being calm, they prepared for Ngannou rushing in as he did in all his fights. Ngannou was calm for the first time in the Stioe rematch and their whole game plan went out of the window. Second of all Stipes weight was too low, Stipe was 246lbs in the first fight, Ngannou is extremly strong and Stipe needs to be as strong as possible to take down Ngannou. You can't be 3 weight classes below someone and expect to win by wrestling domination. Stipe should have bulked up to atleast 246lb in the rematch and I bet he would have taken Ngannou down. Last but not least, his biggest problem was Ngannous new kickbox style, Ngannou is now throwing feints, comibinations, leg kicks etc. Stipe really needs to work hard to win the trilogy. People count him off completly but he can win that fight. Stipe needs to be atleast 250lbs, he needs to use his jab and cross as he did against DC in the trilogy. Keeping distance but going in and out with straights, cross, hooks and uppercut. Stipe should also work on teep kicks, Gane exposed that Ngannous body is wide open for kicks if he expects a punch. If you watch Ferguson vs Thompson, Ferguson shut Thompsons whole offence down by teep kicking him over and over again. Stipe really needs to work on teep kicks and maybe hit Ngannou in the liver a couple of times, feint, feint, hit in the liver, circle. Feint, teep kick, circle, keep the distance, feint, straight , feint, takedown. Stipe can win by moving a lot (good footwork), feints, he needs to not use combinations, he needs to throw 1 strike at a time and be heavier for the wrestling. If he follows this gameplan he can win the fight, even at 250lbs Stipe has a good chin and can eat Ngannous punch if he catches him a few times in the fight.

      @megamanxhunter Před 2 lety +14

      Francis doesn't always rush. I think most people have been fixated on his 1st fight with Stipe that he always bum rushes. It's not always the case

    • @madgavin7568
      @madgavin7568 Před 2 lety +12

      The whole weight thing is an excuse, and there is a trade-off for Stipe gaining weight. He may get stronger, but more muscle requires more oxygen and it'll weigh him down. The trade-off here is that the added weight could slow Stipe down, and actually fatigue him and he needs speed and cardio on his side in a fight with Francis. Another thing is that Francis actually came in lighter in the rematch, so it wasn't just a weight problem for Stipe but rather Francis just got better technically with the takedown defence. For Stipe and his team, they must have been underestimating Francis for them to not consider weight as an issue as Stipe said himself coming in lighter was not part of the plan, the weight just came off naturally due to training. If Stipe and his team really thought this was not an issue and the result of the first fight would repeat itself, they frankly more then deserved to lose this and Francis more then deserved to win this rematch.
      Francis maybe susceptible to teeps to the body, but the problem here is that Stipe has NEVER been a kicker. He's always been a boxer and a wrestler at heart. He's got fast, accurate hands with power but he punches short and his torso is longer then his legs. In fact Stipe has the same leg length as Jose Aldo, very short for a Heavyweight so his body is not made for throwing kicks. At nearly 40 years of age, the time has passed for Stipe to become an effective kicker. He'll never ever be as good as Ciryl Gane in that department no matter how hard he tries. Francis has a longer reach then Stipe does and a more effective kickboxing game, so he'll always have the advantage at kicking range over Stipe plus his longer arms, with freakishly explosive KO power and precise timing. In the stand-up, Francis has every advantage over Stipe (especially with the power) and really can only lose if he gets tired. Given Stipe's age and Ngannou's improvements, he is slower and less explosive now then he was in his prime combined with Ngannou's tighter punching form which makes Stipe a more hittable target on the feet.
      Stipe's path to victory would come via wrestling, but as we know Francis is not a fish out of water on the ground anymore and his takedown defence has improved to such an extent that Stipe was reluctant to shoot again once he got sprawled. All in all, its an uphill battle for Stipe regardless how you look at this fight. Francis has more then proved himself to be a championship-level fighter, he's not merely a power brute who is done after the 1st or 2nd round.

      @@madgavin7568 That's true, Stipe doesn't kick at all. Francis didn't kick that much either in his previous fights, but this fight and the JDS fight are the only one where he kicked more than once.

    • @GoodStuff1992
      @GoodStuff1992 Před 2 lety +7

      @Tommy Gun So it's Francis' advantage that Stipe chose to come in lighter. His coaches wanted him to have more cardio and speed. Their gameplan wasn't a good one for this fight. Because the first fight, Stipe was gassed himself and couldn't get power in his punches to finish Ngannou.
