Today's video is a follow up to the video we put out this past Thursday. Thursday's video was all about the science behind coffee - the effects that coffee and caffeine have on your hormonal system. Today's video is more about the external side effects - what coffee does to your brain and body over time.
I've always maintained that if you stop drinking coffee, it WILL change your life for good. In today's video I justify that point & I'm also going to give you guys a step by step process on how to end your coffee addiction.

Drinking my last cup now. If I can quit alcohol after being an alcoholic for 15 years and I can quit weed after 16 years of smoking I can do this !! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Maren Kritz so did you quit???
Little CableBoy83 yes sir! Haven't had any caffeine since this post!
You can do it girl! I am also breaking my coffee addiciton now. I am on Day 2 and my goal is 6 days and then only having a cup 2-3 times a week instead of everyday.
You can do it! 💪
Maren Kritz Good luck
20 days no caffeine, I feel simply amazing. I’m just happy for no reason . Workouts are easy and gains are advancing. Coffee is a scam .
🤣🤣 you've obviously never had filter coffee
are you Juan Valdez?@@Hunteriscoming
Bullshit
@@Hunteriscoming istg, being South Indian, I'm so accustomed to drinking filter coffee multiple times every single day. It's so so tasty, I'm finding it so hard to quit😭😭
@@Honeygarlicchicken I know, it's addictive
Depletes all vital nutrients from your body that you stored from eating well. Great video.
Another reason you didn't mention is dehydration. I was drinking 2 quads a day last week that's 8 shots of espresso. I quit cold turkey and have been bed ridden for the past 4 days. Today I'm feeling much better and finally have energy again. The withdrawal is real just like other drugs. Anyways I didn't realize how dehydrated I was. This morning I looked at my face and a wrinkle I've always had on my forehead diminished and my skin in general looks better. Can't wait to see what else will improve.
Breaking up with your drug dealer Starbucks is hard you guys but it's for your health!
True same symptoms severe dehydration , panic attacks
coffee restricted me in so many ways. I stopped caffeine a week ago and i feel 10 times better already.
First 2 days i had bad head aches and was craving chocolate but now i wake up fresh and full of energy.
Thank you, I only have one cup a day but if I forget that coffee I get horrible headaches and Tylenol doesn't help. I've heard almonds might help with headaches.
Same here! I was always brain foggy/headachy/paranoid/stressed/over thinking etc and all that has stopped just by quitting coffee and tea! Im on day 3 now, my mind hasnt been this clear in so many years! Well done you for quitting, I really hope I can stick to this!
Did you drink instant coffee or something?
Its your mindset..
well that explains why Im craving chocolate! lol. I just stepped down to 2 cups a day from 4. good luck!
Great video! Thanks! Especially this phrase of yours: "Never ever be a person that is afraid to make a change just because you are afraid of how that change will affect you"
Thanks for typing this here 😊👍🏻
It's been 3 days since I quit drinking coffee cold turkey! I been having the best sleep in my life! And my anxiety level went way down! I'm so calm. I love it! I love how awesome I feel!!!!
Still not drinking it?
When I get a good night sleep I know i've got a good night sleep my mood is great.
Dude the sleep is nice and you feel calmer
@Robin Smith I didn’t get anything!
Same here I can feel the difference
I adore you! It's so good to see a healthy, bright young man who is living is life naturally without caffeine! I quit seven days ago and feel fantastic! xoxo
I quit coffee and tea this week. Hard! But I am excited about that “mental independence.”
i became my trueself after i quit masturbation, caffeine, porn, alcohol, and cigarette. i slowly get the best out of myself. true experience from my humble self
Gawad Frog10 absolutely concur with you Sir👍🏼

Facts
I quit coffee and my vertigo went away, so I tried to drink a little bit of decaf and it started up again so I had to quit the decaf also. It beats up your adrenaline, the adrenal glands come to the point you're completely exhausted, it does not give you energy after a while ,it wipes it out
Absolutely! don't be dependent on anything that's the sign of a healthy body..

@slowstang88 you are dependent on food

I've been having a love and hate relationship with coffee ... But I notice some important things...with coffee is great at the beginning, then while my addiction becomes stronger I get anxious and ALWAYS gain weight... I crave carbs as crazy and my energy levels go down... Then I quit coffee , during the next months my body regulates itself, I lose weight, sleep better.... And then I say....why not, let's have one coffee, and everything starts again ...
@Gordon Vos keep on !! .. I also had headaches and some kind of mild flu, it will take some days... I'm also trying hard to regulate my sleep habits ... I know some people who have no big deal with coffee, but I am very sensitive...
I thought it was just me that went crazy hungry because of coffee. Coffee makes me gain weight and also some kind of inflammation on my face. Quitting it today full time!
Ditto
I LOVE this video and how you focused on creating your own internal happiness ! very helpful ! thank you !!!
I've quit for 3 days and I realized my mood changed and more focus I smile alot
Lol its the opposite for me, coffee is my crack cocaine.
@@anonymousyoutuber9480 same but tea for me . I couldn't function properly when i quit
@@priyankazala6857 try for few days you will be happy
I quit caffeine cold turkey. I can’t say I recommend that. I was really mentally foggy and unable to focus for a few days. But after that, I felt so good! Peace
You addressing the mental difficulty of giving up coffee is a KEY POINT!
Gave up coffee I think 2 times now, for at least 1 week + each time and I was miserable mentally and so tired physically despite me trying to not have ANY caffeine, chocolate included. The problem is I actually ENJOY THE TASTE of coffee (different flavours in the coffee).
Hate the idea of replacing coffee (coffee substitutes). I like tea, but....my bones are probably suffering (teeth dimerineralization, probably bc of overactive CNS)
I'll probably give up coffee after my current coffee is used up, and go out for a pour-over coffee once a week or so.
Coffee is a luxury and in the past, my ansestors MOST LIKELY did not have readible access to it, trying to talk my brain down and not freak out about not being able to enjoy coffee.
The most beautiful and well explained video I have seen on this subject. I quit caffeine 6 days ago and I feel so calm and its so amazing!!
Coffee has been giving me bad stomach aches lately, I need to stop drinking it. It's going to be hard because I love the taste and the buzz. But my stomach just can't take it anymore!
Thank you for being straightforward and honest about caffeine!
I agreed. After quitting 27 days, my panic attacks lessen to 95% (Imagine That!) Vomiting due to its acidity 95%, No Palm Sweating 100%, .. I just suffered 1 week withdrawals because i did this Cold Turkey. What you said is all True!!!
i drink 4-5 coffees a day and to be honest i dont feel great .
Despite me watching dozens of other videos about caffiene good or bad videos ,this guy is actually making sense .I have the same symptoms as he had when he drank it .
When i drink it i feel ok for a few minutes then i am not really at peace ..
Thanks for your great video
yes, it is easy to think that its nit the coffee making you feel so bad, because the only time you felt ok was while you were drinking it! the feeiingl good did not last for long, but by that time, we're busy blaming other things...
Thank you! I quit alcohol and drugs and now praying I can overcome coffee addiction 🙏🏼
God bless I hope you will succeed I pray 🙏🏼 also it works for a lot of my other issues I have faith that God can also assist with this also.
Man I love hearing this guy speak for real! Excellent video!👌🏼👌🏼
He is so hardworking in terms of finding info.. very detailed n clear explanation .. amazing guy 👌🏻
Thanks for the video man, you comparison to cigarettes really caught my ear and might have just pushed me to the other side of the fence.
Absolutely agree! Good video! Thanks!
Great video, very helpful and informative. I quit caffeine first by replacing some of my regular coffee beans with decaf, sort of half and half mix. did that for a week, then moved to full decaf. Now I drink a delicious mug of chicken bone broth with tumeric, ginger and lemongrass daily. On 23 December I am no longer addicted to or consume caffeine. Also, I lost 6lbs during this time, so yes it absolutely impacts hormones!
Thanks for this. Well explained!
This is so wonderful. Super addicted to coffee but I am very willing to make this change. Thank you!

I LOVE YOUR ACCENT God what a welcome break
Many thanks!
A video that I need the most.
I am doing research today to find myself the knowledge and motivation necessary to quit caffeine. I don't drink coffee but I have been dependent on Energy-style water enhancers for years and I realized that I drink way too much, and in light of finally feeling the need to step up my game with my physical and mental health, I think it's time to make that decision. For so long, I didn't have the determination and willpower, and the bigger problem was that I genuinely believed that caffeine was helping me. Thank you for this. I will be sure to watch your other caffeine video. =]
It’s been over a year since I quit coffee. Prior, I’d wake up groggy. Not wanting to get out bed. Now I wake up wide awake. This morning I woke up at 7am. Did my laundry, showered, made breakfast, prepped food for dinner and cleaned the house. All before noon. Quit coffee, you will not regret it. Another plus, I am mentally much more at ease. And do not crave sweets as much as I did when I consumed coffee. I still occasionally will get the craving for coffee. But I will just eat a peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk. And that kills the craving for coffee.
Is drinking tea or coffee necessary???
I really like this dude! Watched several of his vids now - very sincere, good content :)
Thank you so much
This helped

Needed this video. Going to quit coffee for good due to the hormonal imbalance it created in me. I am forever breaking out with acne. It finally clicked that coffee might be the cause. Thanks for all the educational info that you provide, truly truly helpful 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I too developed hormonal imbalances, anxiety, heart palpitations etc..
I did so many severe acne treatments, hair loss and suddenly i realised it was the coffee! Also
Quit coffee never had acne or hair loss again!!
moderation is key .
Had my last sip of coffee now. Heart breaking but I surely wanna be a better person at peace and hence I have decided to challenge myself to quit coffee. Thank you Beerbiceps for inspiring 😍

Really good advice.
Thankyou ! Namaste
I’ve been crazy about coffee, always had like a small pitcher each morning. I felt I was jittery, wanting to do several different things but not concentrating on any one thing, loosing focus and then a lost of energy. Today is my first day without coffee, I have a very strong head ache, but I don’t want to consume any. I read someone wrote that they actually feel younger without coffee😀 So here I GO!
Same
I just find this video helpful. Looking forward for change so to speak.

Currently fighting my coffee addiction! I am on Day 2 and have a very bad headache. I am determined to go 6 days without coffee this week .
Excellently explained👍👍
nice one, never knew these things about about coffee
I found tapering off my coffee to be too difficult because after one cup I just wanted a 2nd cup really badly. But switching to black tea and then quitting black tea after a couple weeks worked great. Cold turkey left me with a horrendous hangover headache after about 24 hours. I was literally drinking coffee at 3 am to get back to sleep due to the pain. I think my sleep is a little better since but I can't say it's dramatic. You need to exercise other good habits like having a routine before bed and going to bed on time and not staying up watching tv/playing video games. That said, I feel better even if I'm dumb and stay up too late. Getting through the day with less sleep is easier. The whole being dependent on an external substance is a big part of that I think. If you are dependent on coffee and or energy drinks, and you know you didn't sleep well, you're constantly fighting with yourself to drink more and more cups throughout the day. That internal battle is just gone now which really helps.
Totally agree with the worrying about outcome thing
