Pardon me if its a stupid question. Beginner here. Do I apply for a job first via NHS jobs or do I first request RCP for the video interview and COS? In the NHS jobs website, they require GMC for most jobs, which supposedly comes after the COS in offered. Also in the RCP website, they ask for the job details. Very confusing for a beginner. thanks

Look for Clinical Fellow jobs mostly.
U can apply via royal colleges as it is more sorted, but there can be a fee payable to the colleges.
Another way is if you have contacts in the UK, they can always ask the seniors & consultants for any such openings.
I actually had a Facebook contact with a Consultant in UK, I directly messaged him on fb, he was very kind to have a talk & even offer me a MTI post, though there were no posts on NHS job site.
So u never know, keep searching & applying.
