Hello Dr, thanks for the update on sponsorship. I have Fellowship in General Internal Medicine with Sub-specialty interest in dermatology and GUM from Nigeria, and currently work as consultant. I also have MRCP parts 1 and 2, PACES pending. How possible is it for me to get sponsorship to Royal Wolverhampton for Clinical Fellowship in Dermatology...i really need to develop my Dermatology practice, particularly the surgical aspect. Thanks

EPIC verification
College/University transcripts in English
But before all of that please see whether you would meet the eligibility criteria for sponsorship.
Hi doc. Like you mentioned that you moved to another trust after getting selected at Edge hill. Could you please assist at what point did you stepped back? I am in a similar position where I am finding it hard to say no after accepting the fellowship course with one trust.

I got the offer letter from them.
But I already had 2 more offers by then.
I declined their offer stating I'll be joining another Trust.
If they have not issued you a Certificate of Sponsorship(CoS) you could withdraw till then.
Once a CoS is issued you cannot withdraw.
Is getting Mmed in Interventional Cardiology relatively easier and are these course recognised by the UK . Can i become Consultant in UK once i finish them
Getting into these courses need two things - money & luck.
U cant be a Consultant in UK with these courses, they will help u getting into training or getting CESR.

Hello doc, can you please explain me is mmed is equivalent to MD degree? As you mentioned about edge hill university in earlier in this video, does this provide full mmed degree?
MMed is like MSc, masters degree but It won't be equivalent to MD.
However MRCP is considered equivalent.

Hi Aman , hope you are doing well. Is it possible for me to apply through the sponsorship program in UK or through MTI if I have been working in the medicine department since I graduated in 2019 . It’s been 3 years , there’s no gap in employment and have a good experience in basically entire medicine department including icu ,ER, wards etc. I have cleared my ielts with overall score of 7.5 but could only score 6.5 in speaking. Btw I have only done MBBS till now.
Unfortunately no.
Post graduation/ structured training is a must.

Hello, Microbiology jobs are very rarely posted for mti as they get filled with locally employed doctors / trainees.

Unlikely around London.
MTI posts are to fill the unfilled positions.
If u are on a dependent visa you can't apply for sponsorship

Only by completing paces.
U can't go through the sponsorship route.
So please look for paces slot, once full MRCP then yes, u could apply for a speciality doctor post

But there is revalidation after 5 years.

Every royal college have their own set of criteria, but most of them need a structured training program as a prerequisite.
