There will be many more such stories remembering the beautiful person she was. Keep ‘em coming!
Sheer comedy gold! RIP dear Queen Elizabeth II
Wasn’t it just hilarious when he did the thing haha just precious
My favourite Queen story was when President Ronald Reagan joined the Queen for a horse ride around the Windsor estate .they arranged a time to take the ride The Queen mounted her horse next to Reagan then noticed there were 5 secret service men all on horses behind him she quipped (make sure read this thinking of her voice) "I thought we were going for a horse ride not joining a posse" Reagan apparently found it very amusing as do I . Rest in Peace my beautiful Queen XX
wonderful. I can imagine her saying it.
So lovely to hear all these stories.
We are so proud of Her Majesty. She served the Commonwealth impeccably. May she rest in eternal peace. Long Live the King.
Brits are just born for the stage…
My step grandfather was a drunk. My grandmother was a local councillor. In the 90's (I was very little and wasn't there) the Queen came to our town to open our town hall.
The councillors and their partners were all lined up and she was to shake hands with each one.
Apparently when she shook my step grandfathers hand, he winked at her and said "Hiya Liz"
My grandmother was furious. My parents who witnessed it cracked up laughing. They told me the Queen looked at him for a long while and just said. "Yes" and walked on.
You really can speak so well of your uncomfortable experience. Enjoyed it.
I love it! Thank you for sharing this wonderful memory! 😄
Brilliant story telling

This is just hilarious 😂
I dream of the day where I can recount a story like this man.
Listen to Teresa May's story.. She could be a standup comedienne!
@@nancysexton545 I did see that one and it was a great story! It's probably the first time I've ever thought her to be funny lol
Yes he is quite the emoter it’s was hilarious when he said the part about the thing
Make it up.
Boris was the speech of the day !!!
He tells that story so well .... brilliant 🤣
Wonderful memories, an absolutely great story teller!
Would it be a great book of contributions and sharing of their personal stories with the Queen? 😊
The BBC has asked people to send in their stories of meeting the Queen. There is a BBC article where they have posted some of those stories.
What a wonderful story!
Yes quite what was your favourite part mines was when he did the thing with the thing…hilarious
you are one of the luckiest people to have direct contact experience with one of the most greatest woman in the history of the world. RIP Queen Elizabeth II.
So many funny stories it priceless
long last Queen Elizabeth II May you REST IN PEACE
great story
May the Queen Rest in Peace. Truly a life dedicated to public service. It even inspired me to create a video about her life story on my channel. Thanks for posting this.
So great!i loved Theresa May stories too!😉👍🏼🙏🏽❤️
Yes! The one about the cheese! 🤣
Love these stories!!! 🤣🤣🥰🥰
Superb!!
Princess Anne such a remarkable soul!!! Her beauty radiats even with the heavy grief we can see she is going through. Social media can do big things, let's show her how impactful she is #princessanne
Stephen Fry has a great story about The Queen asking for cake
She never lost her temper. She was always smiling. What a loss to us all.
she did at least once. A collegue of mine years ago was on Royalty Protection at the Palaces. I think on a Thursday afternoon she used to decamp from Buckingham Palace to Windsor - with the corgis. The dogs were in her car and she got in to find one of them had left a present on the carpet. She went MAD.. she swore apparently.. the stench was terrible. She got out and went back inside whilst it was all sorted out and freshened up. lol. As my friend said.. well, she was married to a sailor!
however, this incident was in private. lol.
USA should become more like the UK.
Beautiful
This is so funny! 😂😂😂
that was truly lovely & as a fellow Jew who lnow so well our ability to regain stories wonder at how many of our holidays you have retold this one ?
“ I looked into those wonderful colourful eyes “ he says. What colour were those eyes Mr Shapps/Green ?
So he snogged the sovereigns hand?
Rest in peace Queen Elizabeth II
A stand up guy..
'The only time the queen went into hiding'. Read on.....
HMTQ had to entertain many prominant people at BP during her Reign, some of which were more difficult than others. One of these guests was Nicolae Cesusescu of Romania. Few days into their 'state visit' HMTQ was walking her corgis in the Palace grounds when she spotted Ceausescu and his wife in the distance walking towards her. Without being seen, she dragged her corgis into nearby bushes and hid until the Ceausescu's had passed by and hastily ran in the opposite direction. Maybe Tom Bower should write a book about our 'badass' Queen and these lovely stories. RIP in eternal peace beloved Queen.
A fun story for sure!
Thank you grant Shapps, you made me laugh 😂
Why does Grant Shapps sound like Boris Johnson telling a story?
I wonder what most of her predecessors would have done if Shapps had have requested an Old Testament as opposed to the Gospel 🤔
Wow
👏
My favourite is the story when . The queen and king of Tonga riding in a carriage, one of the queens horses farted and the queen said to the king oh I’m so sorry and he replied “oh I thought it was the horse. True story !!😂
Omg 😂🤣😂
can we have more of these stories . it is lovely, way better then listening about the reporters go on and on about markle and harry, more toxic, more lies, more rubbish. all this should be for the Queen, and not about those 2 traitors. more lovely stories about the Queen please. I like this story the best.
Have you seen Theresa May's story about the cheese? It's great!
Princess Anne, the stalwart t the end. Love her.
The man’s not fit to stand in that house or meet the queen. Made a right mess of railways in dft. never mind his numerous names 🐍
. I was on royal guard duty. I’d been volunteered. She walked down my line , we were all stood completely still, 15 minutes into a change of arms so my right arm was dead , pins and needles. She stopped and talked to the fella on my right. Straight past me and talked to the fella on my left . Ffs
Similar happened to me with our future King in 1980 in Barry Buddon training camp near Dundee. He was and is Colonel-in-Chief of my regiment. Guys only on my left and right were spoken to, but that's ok.
Great story guys. Felt like I was right there with you.
Who needs the royals
❤😭❤
Can’t believe these people still harping back to the tribal time . Guys we live in a modern democracy times have changed. Queen is just another human being who happened to be born in to a privileged family.
Awesome story. Now apart of history
So what was the "brush"?????
What was he supposed to do ????
I'm guessing he misheard the instructions. Perhaps they were told that the Queen would brush her hand against their lips.
They were supposed to brush her hand against their lips, not quite a full kiss, just a quick brush
@@debvoz
Cheers
He misheard. They told him not to touch her bush.
@@neildeakin4454 …for that comment, I’m afraid it’s the Tower for you!
What's the purpose of these monarch system now ? Just why ?
I don't understand this story. Is he saying the Queen moved her hand to his lips???? If so, how odd. Was it so that he could kiss her hand or what ??
So what does brushing the hand means or is???
Who is gonna pull the rug?
Oooh laaadidaaaa! Aha aha ahaa!
Abolish the monarchy
Should be more embarrassed about his con tricks under false names in the past
Care to elaborate? I fear your comment is liked by simply simpleminded fools who, like me, Have no ides exactly what youre referencing
*He has elaborated and he is right. It was a dirty get rich quick scheme that preyed on the poor.
Im not British so context would be nice here. Otherwise It’s wiser to dismiss it as false.
@@FormerGovernmentHuman I posted a comment in reply to L TipsT well before your comment. For some reason it has gone. I suggested they do a search for 'grant shapps michael green toolkit' which provide you with the context you require.
@@ltipst2962 Did you see my reply suggesting a google term? I wrote it and posted, but it vanished.
@@neildeakin4454 I didn't see it Neil, I'll google that. I have to agree that politics shouldn't be in your mind anymore, our country is doomed whether its conservative or labour. Both parties are horrific in their own right. But this isn't the first time I've hears someone say this about this man so I'll be researching now. Thank you
Grant Schnapps
House full of EGO
Rich or poor we all will meet the only King of all kings
What do you mean?
? What r u talking about
no idea what your point is but you're 100% correct
Allah
The man on the front of the box on Quaker Oats Porridge?
Oh how frightfully droll. Not.
Hมามีควีนดิฉันไม่ได้ว่ามามีควีนนะคะหนูพูดถึงบลิวบิลเลียมว่าเขาชิกแซกอันดับหนึ่งของโลกนะคะฟีด
THE INSANITY OF MONARCHY,
Pity the same fool can not demonstrate the sense of duty of The Queen. I met him at a "distant" Embassy and; he wanted the protection team to "clean his shoes", pity we were busy
😂🕊️
What a rip roaring story.
At 1:54 did he really pronounce Pentateuch (pent-a-tuke) "pent-a-toosh"?!
He’s English. They talk funny. 😊
@@deee5520 um, so am I. Sorry but I'm afraid it was just ignorance.
@@jon_co 🤣❤️
@@jon_co I’m afraid you may be right re: ignorance. I guess he was trying to use a synonym for the OT for rhetorical reasons. Torah or just Bible would have done. Haha oh well! Maybe he thought the Pentateuch was originally French. 🤷🏻♂️😏
@@deee5520 LOL !!
I guess you had to be there.
And she said "Yes." To be honest, I expected something a little more spectacular than that.
It was a spot on impression of her though. That is exactly how she spoke lol.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
First base with Lizard Breath 2
🤣😂he gave The Queen a hickey on the hand 😳🤣
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
Why would you have someone with questionable integrity and multiple identities in the Privy Council ?
The Queens Royal Charities which include those of Royal charter express their deep expression of gratitude for her loyality and patronage of these charites with the full support of the people and consitutional Government. The New King is welcomed to take over the privalage of the blind, the severely disabled children and adults at the fore front of society. The new coinage , notes will express the shire fullfilment her late Majestry gained from the patronage of these valued charities. The ten pound note will express the public service of the NHS and other essental institutions. The twenty Pound note will detail the Queens special charities from the blind to the severely disabled. The fifty pound notes will show the Kings and Queens of the UK since 1900.A new monument will be designed and errected in the concurs at Waterloo Station to signify its work of the sick and disabled to watch over those arriving into London. The designs of which are thought to be inspired by celebrated Country Portrate painter Health Rosselli.
Beautifully written!
What a waste of tax-payers money!
Blimey… they’re easily amused. He won’t be on the after dinner circuit!
she was the final boss of british people
I guess this depends on one’s definition of ‘funny’.
For God's sakes sustain your own country before you worry about some women that never did anything for you
Why anyone would want to meet Grant Schapps let alone speak to him is beyond me.
The loathsome duplicitous little creature that he is.
Is that UKIP chap going to jump on Schapps for trying to be funny during the mourning period I wonder? He's clearly doing grieving wrong.
Do me favour do some fekin work instead of chat rember lizz truss sad we had to work harder well crack on ffs the country is screwed
Three minutes I won't get back. Teresa May's stories were so much better.
Great story, but don't forget this is a man who was found to have used several false names to run shady investment - get rich quick - schemes on the internet. He shouldn't be anywhere near a role in parliament never mind the privy council !!
This is the only time a British politician hasn’t made me laugh
the facking tools, less of the jokes, we need to fix this country!!
Grant Shapps seems to really love himself. Sometimes less is more.
Man uses book about escaping from a Pharoah to pledge allegiance to a Queen.
would have been a great story if there was a punchline
I liked the part where he said a funny thing.
I've never seen so many brain-injured people in one comments section before.
Bore bore bore
Did he meet her as himself or one of his business shill personalities
The Tory woman who got comforted by her child by saying 'don't worry the king will look after us now' was pretty cringe worthy and laughable.
Shut up Michael Green and give rail workers decent pay
And conditions.
So a £4,000 a year pay rise that they have been offered isn't 'decent'?
@@margaret3606 These rail workers have had the very best working conditions and highest pay of any industry for many years. But I am sure you can tell me where I am wrong?
@@1chish You have no idea what they’re arguing for, nor do you know what the jobs entail
such a boring story!!!
