I had the privileged of meeting Tony many years back (late 80's), knew nothing of Magnum at the time in fact I think it was his wife who told me he was in the band , but what a guy we just chatted had a pint or three . . . seriously top bloke which I think is demonstrated here with this brilliant interview....but because of that night I became a Magnum fan and always will be ...tks Tony a night I will never ever forget :-)

Supported magnum a few times at the old marquee in 86/87. We stole their f&c and they laughed about it. Top guys.

Shame there was no mention of Tony’s early bands , in particular Magic Box who were superb. Great interview though and very relaxed which is a nice style
