I worked with Al for many years and early on when I started at same place he shows me a cheque for his royalties, I had heard of the Priest obviously but didn't realise at the time I was sitting in the Canteen next to the founder member - He's been a good friend over the years and we are still in contact today all these years later

I'm pretty sure the young guitarist from Birmingham that got in over kk before it was judas priest was my grandfather!
