Συνέντευξη: Γιάννης Δόλας Μοντάζ/Post Production: One Man Army
    ........................
A great musician and composer is in front of RockpagesTV camera. Where do you start from talking to him really? The band is on the road and just a couple of hours away from its first ever show in front of the Greek audience, so we respect the need for a little rest and we struggle keep it short. He is cool and simple. He only takes his sunglasses off to read some lyrics he was writing while waiting… Interview: Yiannis Dolas, Editing/Post Production: OneManArmy

Magnum are a band who could have easily fallen on relying totally on their wonderful back catalogue. They are so special as they produced high quality, very special albums on a continual basis until, well, this week.
What a talent Tony was and his music will live on forever.
    RIP Tony 🎸

I have so much admiration for Tony - he’s a hero and I simply couldn’t imagine my life without the presence of his songs. I’ve had the privilege to of met him on a few occasions and every time he’s given me his time and words of wisdom. Thank you Tony for the music ❤️.

Songwriting is an amazing gift. There are many great musicians who cannot write songs but Tony had it in spades.

Just one question , if Mark was a problem from the start, how was he in the band for 30+ years ?

Wally Lowe, Mark Stanway and Mickey Barker were the mainstays of the band from 1985 until 1997. It's tragic to hear that Tony doesn't give them an ounce of credit for their work shaping magnum's sound since 1983. Think Tony treats Mark Stanway especially like shit, probably because of bitterness that someone dared to challenge Tony and his monopoly on writing songs. Then I agree with several people who say that Tony has never been a solo guitarist. He is skilled at writing songs, but not a remarkable guitarist at all. He simply doesn't have that little something extra to be called a guitar hero

He's a brilliant guitarist. You don't need to be a shred king. He came up with brilliant riffs and melodies which is more than enough. He was also a songwriter extraordinaire. These attributes sustained a long career.

    Thanks Tony, goodbye.

Tribute band ... about as much as the “real” version then really. He must forget that Mickey and Mark helped shape the sound of the band. To me it’s the others in the band that are living on the bands former glories.
