Petter Dyndahl: String Quartet No. 3.2

This quartet was composed as part of a collaborative project between Cikada String Quartet, nyMusikk (the Norwegian section of ISCM) Composer Group, and a number of Australian composers, which resulted in a concert series of miniature string quartets and the sheet music release MICROS - String Quartets from Australia and Norway, published on Red House Editions (Footscray 2000).

Con le note "fischiate" e arpeggiate il quartetto sembra un altro strumento. Poi viola e cello avanzano sulla scena e iniziano un civile discorso. I like it a lot. Unfortunately too short. TY for sharing! 👍🏻

Grazie mille! The reason it is so short is that it was commissioned as a 'micro quartet'. I composed two miniature string quartets, but unfortunately I have no recording of the other one.
