Having lived in Japan for a time. Up Garage is the one thing I'd love to have in the states now. Literally the perfect place for your drift car. Store full of parts and not super expensive.

I know a guy in Jersey that would drive is S15 on the streets with the plates off his S14. Never got pulled over either, even when we were in Ocean City for an H2o.
Once you start adding power to to the sr20 it becomes a different beast. Power comes on hard and it feels amazing. That is good for drifting, but if you want it to grip then the v8 will be so much better as power is more linear and more manageable, and you can drift it if you want as well as you know with your 240 :) Love the videos!

10 years ago i was able to drive a modded 1989 fc with 380hp in michigan. The power was such a whole different feeling than my v8 camaro or my subaru i had. It was hard to not drive fast all week with that car. I miss it.😢

Nice , i never been to japan but like you i probly go bonkers the 1st time. Sr's are great i been dayling one going on 10 years now trouble free mild tuned, had it on my s13 for 7 years now slapped it to my datsun 260z i rescued . love your enthusiasm

Is this the Omoren main office just outside Tokyo? I'm headed out in April and was planning on renting from them; likely the S15 or S660. Fun2Drive seems overly restrictive / expensive, and finding a manual 86 through Toyota rental seems difficult. Was planning on heading out to Hakone.

Love them both! You can't compare r34 and s15 though! Two very different cars.
Personally I would prefer the Silvia as a daily and r34 for Sunday drives :)

Drove that same s15 in 2015 =). Took it to mt. haruna, irohazaka, tsukuba. 2nd was pretty beat and was hard to get into reverse. Did you do the survey in the end( was hard to understand the english version)? They warn you a lot to not take it to the track and drifting it. They show you big pictures of crashed rx7 and subaru that previous customers had to pay for. They had a dash cam inside but i figured it only records during accidents since I did donuts the night before =p.

Being to japan multiple times I have gotten used to these types of cars and the s15 an r34 gtt models are just little get around cars you know but in America people still flip

I own a 225kw AWD LS1 Ute (Crewman Cross 8) and a 17 Veloster 150kw.. similarish power to weight but I know what you mean the veloster just pulls and pulls but not all angry like the v8. Its hard to explain till you have driven both. Enjoy the S15 if you do get one. Id love the opportunity to have one :P
