    I love this car. "I just like the style." Me too. A Coronet was what i wanted when a '69 Charger came out of nowhere in '77. This Super Bee is perfect,,,,right drive train, color, wheels and tires.

    '68 is my favorite year for all things Mopar. My mom's aunt(my great aunt?) bought a '68 Dart GTS brand new(I was 3) and I always remembered how everything was metal and chrome and sturdy to the touch. Compared to today's cars, it actually seemed hand-made. Still cracks me up, a 60+ year old woman with a 340, 4 BBL, floor-shifted Torque-Flite equipped GTS Dart. :-)

    What a fantastic car and owner Lou. Thank Patty for sharing her beautiful car with us. This one really brings back memories for me, my first car was a 68 Coronet 440, which was a deluxe trim package. Of all the cars I've owned, that's the one I wish I could have back the most. Very sweet car. Love the tail lights on a 68 Cornet/Super Bee, they are in my top five. Also love the marker lights on Mopar B bodies from 68. One of my favorite small items on the Mopars is the little light on/under the dash that lights up when you have the car in reverse. I might be a bit biased as I am putting together a 68 Roadrunner but I dig all cars. Keep up the great work Lou.

    Love Super Bees! The Bee icon and tail lights are especially cool. I love the 4-speed stick shift - but sadly I can never own one. I got a trick left knee and when it goes out - it makes shifting gears impossible. (no long rambling today - my brain had a flat)

    Odd that she spent all that effort getting the papers and pamphlets for specifically the 68 Bee but has the valve covers and heater hose bracket from the 69, the spacing of "DODGE" on the grille is too close, and 68 didn't have any superbee emblems other than the striping, that started in 69.

      Btw, the Super Bee and Road Runner were similar cars, Dodge being the top brand. So why is the Road Runner the more popular and the Super Bee treated like the stepchild? Answer: marketing.

    • @Red-rl1xx
      @Red-rl1xx Před 6 lety

      20alphabet Well, I think "image" had a lot to do with it, too. Everybody can agree that "Road Runner" conjures up images of speed, while "Super Bee", somewhat less so.
