Self-deprecating humor is something I wish I saw more in comedy, as opposed to being self-important, arrogant and trying to get status by deprecating others, especially groups of people already unpopular or who there aren't many of so they're an easy target.

Eric Rasmussen (Where do I recognise that name from?) Here's some I've watched, and have at least one season on Netflix. Blackadder (Seasons 2 & 4 are best.) Red Dwarf (Pretty much all but season 10 is awesome.) Outnumbered (Seasons 1 & 2 are best.) Come Fly with Me, Fawlty Towers, and Top Gear (All the specials and a few episodes pre-2016.)
Eric Rasmussen Inside No. 9 is awesome, but that's part horror, part comedy. Fawlty Towers, w/o a doubt, Father Ted & the IT Crowd (though they're Irish, not British), Misfits, though that's part drama and everything after Season 3 is utter trash (1&2 are still brilliant, and 3's worth a watch), Black Books... oooh, Spaced! Knew I was forgetting something. Yeah, Spaced and Fawlty Towers for some top notch British comedy.

I think there was a pitch meeting that went roughly like the one in the sketch and then to turn it into a joke she pitched the meeting itself as a sketch idea.
Like, she pitched a depressing idea and every one was like, "Caity, are you depressed?". And she was like, "What? No, umm, no, totally, haha. But hey, what if I was? haha, what if we make a sketch like where I'm super depressed and using sketch ideas to cry out for help?" And everyone was like, "Hey, that's actually a pretty funny idea, let's do it! Good job, Caity." She was like, "Yeah, good job. Yay me. Haha. Please help me." Trap: What? Caity: With the sketch, I mean! Can you help me with directing this sketch? Haha."

What do you guys think?
