Blade guard is essential. Put it on even if it looks dull as it could save you from serious injury.
no music no trash talking no begging for anything just a perfect restoration!
Wouldn't mind some audio or textual commentary
Brilliant, by far the best video of professional repair work, without the ego bits. Great stuff…thank you.
Good work my friend and good luck
Thanks 🙏🏻❤️
really good work... and I know finding a replacement for that broken guard is probably about impossible... but it's really a must
All of these restoration videos look like the items get dunked in the same mud hole.
Well observed! Sadly, it's part of the show nowadays in order to get more hits!
Yyyyup
It's not impossible tho
Yep and left there for some time to get some surface rust lol.
They could also be recoveries from tsunamis
People saying about the lack of a guard, yes fair comment. But back in the late 60s I worked at a a factory that produced 75% of the entire worlds Diesel engine components, yes in the UK. The machinery that they used at that time would not be acceptable in modern times. It was dangerous. But apart from the odd problem here and there we got on with the job.
I’m pretty sure if this guy can rebuild that mitre saw,he will take care of his fingers.
Great restoration,lovely workmanship.
you are very talented
Thanks 🙏🏻❤️
Excellent restoration! - One thing to remember and not shown is "Alignment" of the tool. Making sure the angle stops are set to true vertical 90°, Miter center 90° and 45° either side. Also, the back fence must be aligned 90° to the blade. Otherwise your tool will build in progressive errors in your woodworking project.
This is an expert rebuild technician. You can tell he has a lot of experience.
i dont thinks he should use penetrating oils for carbon brush plastic housing, penetrations oils are for metal screw
That saw could have been cleaned up without all that drama 🤣. Such stupid fools in this world! Look how clean it came with some soap and water, acting like he did something spectacular
But you are a genius 👍👍😀
Outstanding!!!
Thanks 🙏🏻❤️
awesome restoration..be careful with the missing blade gaurd
Not having any heavy tools like the other channels, yet producing a better result is beyond amazing
10/10
Thanks 🙏🏻😊
Это для тех людей , у кого развита мелкая моторика рук Не всем это подойдет!!!!!!!!!! КРУТО мне лично понравилось ))))
Спасибо за просмотр моего видео 🙏🏻❤️
Ha ha ha now looks better than from the factory
You are a true fixer of things.
Shame there was no replacement for the shield.
However... also knowing how to recreate the decals, from scratch, is another world entirely.
Graphics, as well as mechanically inclined?
Damn... You're good.
The decals were what got me too Seemsayin
@@natureboygolfer I really had to give him a big nod. For most... it's one or the other. He's got both.

I wanted to see how you fixed the transparent broken guard.

What a perfect transformation.... Brilliant....

I love these restoration videos. So engrossing with the sound off, I can binge watch for hours. Thank you for making these excellent videos.
Thanks for watching my video 🙏🏻❤️❤️
Хорош , красиво восстановил !
Very very nice brother .. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much ❤️🙏🏻
It’s more cleaning than restoring. But I liked it.
Thanks ❤️
I cannot say enough about your ability to put the most complex gadgets back together again!!
how do he remember how to put together those screw and stuff, are he playback the recording video or he write it all down
Great restoration. Probably misunderstanding something but the blade guard does not seem to be nearly big enough!
On the "before" shots you can see bigger plastic cover that was on the metal blade guard. Seems like he didn't found replacement.
Please:
DO TAKE A BOW!!!
You've done a SUPERB job!!!
Thank You so much for this video!!!
MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!!
🛐🛐🛐🙏🙏
I like that this was done with relatively basic tools! No 3D printer or laser etcher, lots of ingenuity and elbow grease. It didn't seem fake to me (I admit I am no expert) the amount of grease and rust seemed realistic. I'm sure there were things omitted, but I enjoyed it!
Thanks for watching my video 🙏🏻❤️
Nice restoration. Do you plan to add the sawblade guard again? I just get goosebumps watching the 'naked' blade go round when it's in the up position. Otherwise well done 🙂
I was going to say the same!
Same as that!!
Beautifully done...can't even imagine the number of hours you had into that project
Thanks ❤️❤️
34 minutes 53 seconds. He is fast lol.
good job on the saw
Thanks 🙏🏻❤️
Good job. Everything replaced that needed to be replaced.
Thanks 🙏 ❤️
I give you an A+ for the restoration and the editing.
Resurrecting a tool from the dead and editing not boring or repetitive. Subscribed.

Seems like a lot of work for something u can go buy new for about $100 bucks
@@user-jw4vz9kf1g
And that is exactly the problem of our times..
Отличная работа!
As far as I could see, it just needed a clean and the guard fixing. You cleaned it - nice job.
Thanks 🙏 ❤️
Looks great, however you have replaced the original negative rake blade with a positive rake blade. You should really only use negative rake blades on chop saws as a positive rake can pull the wood up off the deck and result in a jam or worse. Positive rake blades are for table saws and circular saws.
Awesome and brilliant restoration. Almost out of factory product. Many many congratulations.
Thank ❤️
Showed this to a buddy of mine and he reminded me that this is how all of our workshop looked like after a sandstorm in Egypt when we were with the UN Emergency Force (UNEF II) in 1977
Great job.... But actually 10 dollars was expensive.
Thanks
Incredible and awesome. Few could EVER do as half as you have. Thank for sharing a Gem to us.
Thanks 🙏
Покажите хоть раз первую часть видео, ну где Вы берете нормальную рабочую пилу и доводите её до состояния в котором она на начале этого видео. 🤣
да нуу, наверное опять в кустах нашли, или на дереве XD
Good job dear ❤❤
Thank you 😊

One hell of a great restoration Bro. You just keep up the great work you are doing.👏🏻👌👌👌
Wow! Fantastic restoration! I kept thinking how my Dad would have loved to meet you. He loved fixing old tools and did a bit of imaginative repurposing of some. Thanks for the video and the reminder of my Dad.😊

Very nice
Thanks ❤️🙏🏻
I fix tools. I have for decades. I am very impressed.
Thanks ❤️
How do you make those amazing stickers?! Perfect touch to the saw. Looked better than factory. What printer and sheets do you use?
Wow! Really nice work! However, because you left off the clear plastic blade guard, using this tool without that guard is now incredibly dangerous. You need to make a new clear plastic blade guard before using this tool. I’ve taken verbatim testimony from far too many people who cut off their fingers because they removed that clear plastic blade guard because they thought it was a hindrance or unnecessary, and nothing could be further from the truth. Keep up the good work! And make a new blade guard!
I would straight up pay someone to do this with my miter saw, as long as it didn't cost as much (or more) than a new one.
Happy to see the armature and worm gear still available. I always end up with critical parts shortages.
MAn you aren an expert, nice meeting you !!👍
You forgot to replace part of the blade guard during the rebuild. As it is at the present time there is no protection to prevent serious injury if your hand comes anywhere near the blade while is still spinning down. It would also be nice if this model had a blade brake when you release the trigger.
I have seen someone cut half their hand off because they decided to remove the guard. I hope if this saw is being used that it gets a proper guard replacement.
Excellent restoration, it's 10 out of 10 from me. I'd be able to take it apart but putting it back together-no chance. Keep up the good work.
Very very wonderful👍✌️👏👏👏👏❤
Thank you 🙏 🥰
I really enjoy watching this but it’s just a cheap brand and it would be easier to just buy another one. I realize you did this for us to enjoy, so I’m not saying it was stupid to rebuild it. Plus now you have a brand new saw.
You miss the point of his channel.
No safety guard to speak of, rather dangerous device! 😎
nice restoration, but omitting the plexiglass safety precautions is an absolute no go...
Very nice restoration looks brand new
Thank you very much 🙏🏻❤️
Write subscribe in the dirt while you’re cleaning up people will love it. Love from America brother!!
Wonderful, wonderful restoration! Well done to you sir! Oh and, you restored a mitre saw from my home country, Malaysia! 😁
Thanks for liking my video 🙏❤️
Please order the plastic guard and install it.
fantastic 👏🏻🙋🏻♂️🇧🇷
Good example for how miter saw works.
Very fine work, I would be proud to own a tool rebuilt by you. Your family must be well taken care of an extremely proud of your skills.
Thank you very much 🙏🏻❤️
All is fine except the protective blade clear plastic, you should have made a new one, this is soooo dangerous
The only thing more miraculous than the job you did cleaning that saw up, was you putting it back together.
Вряд-ли у нас получится за такие деньги отремонтировать, один якорь для торцовки будет стоить полсотни байденов.. видео интересное, спасибо автору за работу.
Trabalho lindo parabéns 👏👏👏👏💯👍👍🇧🇷
Thanks 🙏 ❤️ 🇧🇷❤️
You missed putting the clear plastic guard back on to stop any user from touching the spinning blade as the saw rises up, probably one of the most important safety guards!
My thought too. Great for losing fingers or more. Why even put the guard mechanism back on if not using the guard itself.
Looks like the original guard was pretty broken. But I would not personally be willing to run the saw with a blade installed without getting and installing a replacement guard.
I didn’t see him grease the drive gears. Should he have or maybe it wasn’t video’d.
That was broken and new was not available.

आपका वीडियो बहुत अच्छे❤
Thanks ❤️
C'est formidable mais c'est dommage de ne pas avoir pu réparer la protection en plastique qui était cassée mais aurait pu être restaurée au minimum pour assurer la protection de la lame de cet appareil qui sans cela est extrêmement dangereux.
Просто загляденье!
AMAZING !!!
Thanks 🙏🏻❤️
Trabalho perfeito. Parece até que saiu da loja hoje.😊

Here is another restoration video of a piece of equipment that looks like it might have been plucked from the watery grave of the Titanic.
Very enjoyable to watch this restoration of the saw. Granny 90
Thanks for liking my video 😊❤️
Muito ótima a restauração
Thanks 🙏
You lacked the disc protector, otherwise excellent.
Good job, but agree the disc protector is necessary, not to protect the blade but to protect the user from the blade!
A great deal of skill and knowledge, and the video itself is near to perfection! Excellent job, sir! New subscriber!
Thanks and welcome 🙏🏻❤️
That's a fake account if I've ever seen one.
@@t3chninja_official exactly, no one in their right mind would pay any amount of money for that turd of a saw. Even someone who could “restore” it.
Very Nice 👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿
Thanks 🙏 ❤️
It is useable now! Good Restore!
Thanks 🙏
I came to the decision during the disassembly that this is a project I would probably never want to take on myself 😂
Great work sir, as always. It's a great pleasure to watch your videos!
I liked your video but you need to do something about the screeching background sounds :)
Homie is working within his means. I think the background noise gives it character :)
Turn the volume down if it bothers you so much

I'm probably wrong. I honestly know very little about the electric service in countries outside of the USA.
But.
To me, it looked like the original plug was for a 110v service, and the final was for a 220v service?
Where am I wrong?
Someone please educate me.
Thank you.
@phi katho I understand that. I am fairly sure the final plug used 220v.
But doesn't the first plug look like a US 110v ac plug?
That should've been free, not $10.
Marvelous.
Thanks you🙏❤️
Power full nice work thanks
Thank you too 🙏🏻❤️
God Bless You....Great way to hide from your wife!!
As others have said, the plastic guard was missing in the final restoration. I was watching the final cutting demos and your fingers were very close to a spinning blade, especially the diagonal cuts. You really need the guard otherwise it is a very dangerous machine. You can probably get new guards from the manufacturer wholesalers as they do often get broken. Don't use (or let anyone else use) it without one.
Satisfying
Thanks ❤️
I liked your video. Nice restoration as brand new machine. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you too 🙏🏻❤️
