Very much an underrated player....never took a backward step. 10/10 in my book.
I played against him, he was an osprey player at the time and was recovering from injury so they let him play for his local team taibach rugby club, amateur team. he was like a rampaging bull. Very tough man
I remember the game against South Africa, watching Hibbard take on two Springbok forwards on his own made my day. Tank!

Well he played for Wales and the lions so he actually was a top hooker that is a fact Haha pipe down mate your talking shit he was brilliant scrummager, awesome defensively and a decent thrower he done hell of a job.
@wildebest i dunno all I'd say is if it was him or Owen's in the team I'd be happy either way.no but I have worked on his neighbor's house and met him he was a nice guy.im not saying he was amazing but when he's older sitting in the pub I think he's good enough to say I was a top player back in the day.
Hibbard is sincerely missed in a Welsh jersey .. loved his intensity round the pitch smashing into everything

I remember the first time I saw Hibbard and I thought he looked a bit like a fat Flash Gordon. Great Hooker, tackles like a fuckin' bus.
